1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Soom Monthly Doll May (Taurus) the Third Land: Sard - Night Odyssey Discussion

May 15, 2008

    1. Ohh, I didn't know he was going from sold out to available. This is the first I have seen him sold out. Good luck to those who haven't ordered yet. 8D

      David bowieeeee. D8 ~Grabs for~

    2. yes luckily sard has been restocked 2 or 3 times now ( I got mine on the second round ) so dont fret just yet!!

    3. But I'm paranoid since it's only about a week away from the "No more Sard forever" date.

Things have been going down the crapper for me off and on, everytime I get happy something ruins it. e.e So that makes me even -more- paranoid.

D: And you can't have my Bowie toys *hoards them*

    4. well just emphasise to soom how badly you want him. As always if there is enough demand... they tend to help you out. *keeps fingers crossed for you*

    5. Thanks. I already emailed them... I hope I will still be able to get him.

u_u;; If not i can always pay off my hospital bill, or put it in my savings, or get a tattoo...

    6. It's Monday over here, This side of the world is approx 9 hours ahead. According to the website, he'll be sold until Friday so you may have a chance. Give it about 4 hours. He may be restocked. They don't work over the weekend and usually don't seem to start until 9 am their time which is an hour behind us.

    7. Oh goodies! Thank you! I was really scared. *is so going to the bank tomorrow*

    8. I'm glad to hear that Sard is probably going to be re-stocked soon. 8D I am sure they want as many sales as possible, so I don't see them selling out before their own date unless they really get swamped. Even if they do sell out though, I am sure Sard (and/or pieces of him) will show up on the marketplace fairly soon.

    9. :...(Yes, sadly if my finances don't improve, my Sard will show up on the marketplace in about 3 months:...(stupid adult concepts like "buying house" and "mortgage" ...grrrr) Or maybe all of him except the demonized Dia head. I *never* find female sculpts I like, but this one might have tricked me through cross-dressing or, um, cross-body borrowing.

    10. Sard is re-stocked again :)

    11. Whooo!

Now if I could only figure out this paying through paypal with my debit card thing >/

    12. duzell>> it's the same as checking it out using a credit card. :3 just key in the debit card details.

    13. Eh, no, it has to go through paypal and it's an odd thing I'm just getting into. With instant transfer and back up funding... -.- I don't understand how to use it to that extent really...

    14. After you go to the "send payment" tab and fill out the info on your paypal account, the next step will ask you to confirm your payment. During this step, there should be an option in parenthesis that's underlined to change your method of payment beside the payment source. Click on that and there should be options to use your bank or your credit card. Click on the credit card option and enter your debit numbers. Make sure you've entered the numbers correctly and that the credit card bubble is checked then click to preceed. the page will return you back to payment confirmation page. Resume it by clicking to confirm then wait for the transaction to show up in your payment history.

      If your bank if already hooked up to paypal as the main source of payment then I dont think it's necessary to use a debit card. Isn't your debit card the card version of your bank? If so then, either way, paypal will draw money from the same source. Unless you have multiple bank accounts... XD;

      Anyways, I hope this helps~

    15. duzell>> that's strange.

all the times i've not had money in my paypal account, i just use my debit card direct (it's the same card that's linked to my paypal account) since i don't have to lose more money through paypal's crappy international exchange rates.

i just use my debit card as if it was a credit card.

it's worked fine for all the doll sites i've used it on before. :0

    16. Well I ordered him and I went and clicked on the paypal thing to send payment, since my uncle told me it'd give me the option of using my bank card or taking from paypal. But... -_- it just goes to send me to pay in full, I can't make an option to pay just the payment.

This process is not good for people with anxiety disorders... I'm about to email SOOM I'm getting worried cause if I can't do it with my debit card through paypal there'll be no where that I'm gonna have the money in my paypal account in time.

    17. Dont listen to your uncle. LOL Cuz the paypal option at the end of the order does not work for me. So I paid SOOM thru paypal instead by using the "send payment" option.

Using the send payment option from your account, there is guarantee that you will pay the full amount needed ( that is, if you have enough funds in your bank). Because if I dont have enough in my paypal account, paypal automatically pulls from my bank (cuz it's linked already) and takes the differences needed to get the amount you must paid. For example, lets say I need to pay $1000 for the doll but in my paypal account, I have only $300 and in my bank account, I have $5000. Paypal will use the $300 in paypal and pull $700 from my bank to make sure I pay $1000 for the doll. After paypal does this, I will have $0 in paypal and $4300 in my bank. Does that make sense? The only thing to worry about is not having enough funds in your bank; dont worry so much on the method (ie bank, debit card, etc) unless you have multiple bank accounts.

So there is the the option of using paypal balance + bank account = total amount need. It's not limited to using one method to pay.

    18. o_o;; Okay I have like three learning disabilities and I didn't understand a word of that paragraph really.

The first part I understand though! So now I just need to know what the SOOM address to send payment to...

    19. I edited for clarity but I guess you didnt get a chance to read it? XD

their address is found on their payment info page. there are two but you can pay to either one

    20. duzell>> the paypal link-thing at the end of checkout doesn't work.

instead, log in to your paypal account and send them the payment direct from there.

they have 2 addresses that you can use, and apparently, either will work fine. ^__^ the addresses are on their FAQ section, under the payment FAQs. ^^

if you're paying on layaway, post in their Q&A board when you've sent your first payment. the info you need to include is covered in their layaway FAQ. ;3

if you're paying the full amount, you can still let them know that you've paid in full on the Q&A board if you're feeling unsure.
