Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. So...a quick question for those of you who have Sards already: I'm thinking of getting a different wig for my boy, (gorgeous as the Soom wig is, it just isn't quite working for what I have in mind for him), and the only other SD wig I have at the moment is a generaic 'SD size.' According to Soom, the SG's take a 10...but I'm wondering if he can manage a 9-9.5 Have any of you tried a wig this size on him?

    8. I've put a Monique 8-9 wig on him and it works fine. I got the default wig and as gorgeous as it is it is HOOGE on him. :(

    9. Loagaeth told me that the "9-10" wig she bought for hers was too big, and when she measured him he was much smaller, so I would actually take a tape measure around & see what size.

    10. I had the same problem with the wig I got for him. I'm not sure who's doing the measuring over at Soom, but they are WAY off. I have a Monique 8-9 on mine as well, which fits fine.

    11. The default wig *is* bigger. I tried another 9-10 on him and it swamps him a bit but still looks alright (the one in red). My guess is 8-9 will fit perfectly.

    13. So are people still getting their Sards? I've paid mine off a while ago and I'm waiting for him to ship. Sigh. My Beryl is waiting for her partner. Are all the Sards arriving without the hooved feet? That means I'll have to restring. I was pretty much hoping not to have to do that. Guess I'm getting lazy. Oh well.

    17. Ah, for the love of...I bought the wig that's a part of the fullset and it won't fit? How annoying is that! What a troublesome doll: first the brushing that chips, then loose stringing, a 3-month wait, and now this. Good thing he's gorgeous, or he wouldn't be worth it. Maybe by the time my boy gets out of the faceup studio they'll have figured it out and started sending wigs that actually fit the doll they're meant for :eusa_pray!

    18. The default wig fit mine okay... I mean, it wasn't super snug, but neither was the wig that came with my Souldoll Hye.
      The wig fits well though, with no gaps or anything for my guy.

    20. Madammaumau :cheer Yay more Hyes on the board! Being an unusual person makes me happy! Hye is so awesome; she was my first doll, and I love her to bits! There will be tons of pics of Hye and Sard. The size difference is so amazing; with his hoof pieces on he is over 10 cms taller than she is.

      Hopefully I'll be able to post pics by the end of the weekend :) I finished most of Sard's body blushing last night, and now I just need to add his finishing touches. He wont have his wig that I ordered though, since it just shipped yesterday, but I can still post him finally! I've been waiting so anxiously to be able to add him to the other Sard's posted in the gallery :)
