Yes, I have some rare earth magnets kicking around somewhere. But, yes, they would have to be fixed to the doll somehow. I guess dremelling out some little dents, super gluing in a magnet and then painting these over might do the trick. Who does bat wings, tho'?

 

Very true, and I've heard that Beryl has some issues with standing. I mean I would too, if I had goat legs.

 

Hmmm, good question. I've seen a guy in the Marketplace that does some beautiful angel wings, but he seems like he just does angel ones.

Man, this is so bad. I only ever planned to have one doll. Look how long that's lasted. My first one isn't even here yet. I had no idea I would ever see anything like this when I got into this though. I had expected to see lots of pretty girls with nice dresses, and cute boy dolls. But big hoofed demon men? Not so much.

 

Well, weirdly, I got bored of sitting around here and went ot amuse myself in the Gallery and lo and behold this. Perfect. I shall ask Riverkelpie where she got them from.

EDIT: they are made by Silver Faction on here and the straps seem to sort of slip into the shoulder joint. Right, there goes next month's money too...

 

Come to think of it, I HAVE seen those wings before in the Gallery. It looks like they're made out of leather. They don't look too hard to construct.

There is no doubt in my mindt that Sard is the Incubus

Not only does he have horns (oooh, with gold splatters on them!), you can also see part of his feather wings. That IS a disappointment though, I don't like the brown feather wings at all. But... I was sort of picturing him without the wings anyway, as a Faun or Satyr. And I love the cold coulour scheme- plus I think Sard and Beryl would make a fantastic couple.

Yes, he looks a lot like Dia, but I think he looks way better! Wow, sparkly male Vega happening all over again- my boyfriend is going to be so pissed off at me now, with Vega, Rex, Beryl... and now Sard. Because hell yeah, I am getting him no matter what!! (I think... ) He has elf ears! Oooooooh *swoon* Want want WANT! I want a buy-button and more pictures asap! Please don't show up while I am asleep and go all sold out during the night... Argh, I am pathetic

 

Well, yes, I wondered the same thing, but then the term "clutching at straws" sprang to mind...

 

I want Sard to be a faun.....so I may or may not keep his head, and he won't need wings...but I wll probably buy the fullset anyway to make the doll more versatile. I hope I like the body brushing so I don't have to do it myself.

Earlier in this topic, AnnieStar said she would be interested in buying the head if you do end up selling it. I'm keeping mine, that's most of the reason why I want the doll is because his face is so beautiful! I probably would have bought Dia's head to put on this doll anyway, but they beat me to the punch.

I will be very sad if Sard doesn't come out today.

 

Well, it's not today any more in South Korealand. Do we know for certain that he was due to be released on the 15th, or has this just been a rumour? I have had a look on their Q&A board, and can find no reference to it.

 

In the notice it says ordering period May 15th till May 19th.

 

But that is for the FFDs, isn't it? He is a monthly doll, so was probably due to have been released on 11th. He is not on the list for the releases for that period.

 

Yeah, but that's for the FFD dolls and parts, which Sard is a monthly doll. Or maybe they're doing him as a FFD? But that wouldn't make a lot of sense.

I read it on the Beryl topic that someone e-mailed Soom, and Soom told them that the Incubus would be released on the 15th. That's what I've been going by.

As far as the monthly dolls being released on the 11th, the March version of Vega was March 9th till April 9th. So it's not always the 11th.

 

Even if you go by the releases of the monthly dolls it should be around his time. Eh we'll see. Even better if it's later cause then I can avoid layaway and just get him in one go.
