lol, I seem to have awaken too soon --> still not up for sell! I am pretty sure her outfit will be gold/red ... the evidence is there for sure --> headdress, top of outfit, and her eyes the suspense is definitely killing me .... i think i would die a bit if she doesn't go up today and i have to wait 2-3 more days!

I'm getting a baby Bygg too! And hoping that Galena will match her beautifully!

I'd love for Soom to release more fantasy coloured dolls, but I think that not enough people are interested in them for them to make the effort. If they did, they'd probably still have to always offer WS too otherwise people would complain.
Of course if they did, I'd never be safe because fantasy coloured dolls often = INSANT NEED for me, especially if it's SOOM!!!!

 

I would looove some crazy colors from soom. I have to admit, if there was a vesuvia baby I would have to abandon all reason and find a way to buy her @.@ tiny baby scorpion tail!!!

 

Same here! I really wanted a baby Vesuvia! Both because I wanted that sparkly purple resin AND I wanted a little baby scorpion! Sadly it didn't happen, but I still hold out hope that they'll bring back that resin at some point - though didn't they have problems remaking Vesuvia for the recently lottery and ended up not doing her at all?

But yeah, this is why I'd love to see Galena be something a little more unique than just grey. Even sparkly grey would be fabulous!

 

I missed out on Bygg AND onyx, checked the news a few days too late on each of them, how unlucky is that! And they've been my two favourites so far So I'm really glad they did another grey dollie (euclase didn't do it for me).

I seem to be one of the few who got a Vesuvia, I haven't seen many around. I'm kind of hoping Galena won't be sparkly though... because I don't know if I can deal with two weird-coloured sparkly girls ^^;;

Then again, sparkles are sooo pretty. Haha I wonder if they'll make a pearl WS/NS one in the future, instead of just plain ol WS/NS? So not quite fantasy coloured, but still fantasy. That would be cool, and Twilight fans would probably go nuts.

 

I agree, so many people seem upset that Soom made her GS even though
they do admit she's lovely, I can't see Soom making tinies in purples or
other fantasy colors without getting many complaints (*sigh*) about it
and having to offer ws or ns too. But we can always hope!!

Soom has released so many WS MDs this year, another GS is such a nice
change I feel. Honestly I don't think I would be as drawn to her if she were
a normal color.

Same here actually! I mean, in GS her sculpt looks beautiful.
But so many people have compared her to Cass, and there was something about Cass I just DID NOT like. I think it's the more realistic softer nature of the sculpts - I prefered sculpts like Cuprit (who I obviously brought home) and Beryl, and Onyx (only in GS though, for some reason) and Topaz too (who was softer, but had those fabulous giant lips).
I think if you made Galena WS, she might start looking like the realistic softness of Cass, which just isn't for me.
It's all about the GS this time!

I'd really love to see some CRAZY colours.
I mean, even Vesuvia's purple isn't PURPLE, not like my little Xue (picture I linked to before) who is PURPLE purple. She's more just a slightly purple tinted sparkly grey.
I'd like to see Soom do BLUE.
Like if they did another Water doll, the doll would be BLUE. The Earth doll would be GREEN. The fire doll would be RED. Darkness could be BLACK and so on.
It seems like something safer to try out with the tinies too, as they always release 2 at once. They could always do one in WS and one in a fantasy skin tone like they did with Bygg and Beyla, then make the doll gender neutral.

Excessive speculation whilst waiting for more pictures. COME ON SOOOOOOOOM! xD

 

Scenario A: Soom can't update the pictures because of the massive F5ing lagging their site.

Scenario B: Soom in black capes cackling out a window screaming "Dance puppets, suffer in your anxiety for the announcement of Galena over the weekend, Muahahaha"

iRage at staying up until 4am for pictures ;-; I didn't find Soom until way past Onyx, and I will forever kick myself for not being able to get Vesuvia (though in hindsight I'm glad I didn't win her in the lottery after what ended up happening.. that would have KILLED me). Galena is definitely the Onyx and Vesuvia missers' chance. Though if she is sphinx-esque I'd be inclined to hunt for a Vesuvia tail and turn Galena into some hardcore chimera o_o;

 

Drat i'm getting kicked off tonight...hopefully later on today!
