    1. That bothers me too, though apart from her nose she actually looks a lot like my friend, which is really funny.

      I duno... I still like her and will probably get her, but she doesn't beat Onyx for me. I'm not that stoked about the wing-arms (I find them a bit scrawny), and I don't like her claws that much either. Will go have a ponder. I wonder if I'd be able to trade with anyone for an Onyx head if I were to buy Galena?

    2. hehehe, if it makes you feel any better, I've been SOOMed once again as well. And I had to get the body to get the dresses (so now I'm hunting for a head for that body xD)


      xD Her legs are rather nice.


      ... I just noticed, she doesn't have the typical SOOM mythical creature legs, which means no crouching for her. :/ I don't know how that makes me feel.

      I am going for the grey skin, although I really like the white skin too. ARGH! Maybe, a very small maybe, I have enough money to put a white skin on one layaway at the end of her sale time.. But I am not sure about that.. She is gorgeous!

      And I am so happy that they have the 3 toes thingie on her bird legs! :D

    4. Agree her head looks a bit larger than norm, but her shortness I think
      is just the effect of her outfit.

      I really need to see her claws better. I'm not sold on the blushing
      they show, but it's too hard to see. It looks a coppery-brown.
      This is why I wish Soom had blushing options like iplehouse!!
      I want a blushed body, but likely won't want blushed claws....

    5. So here's a thought, do you think she looks like anyone?

      I learnt recently that all Soom MDs are based on real famous people.
      Their offices are just FULL of pictures of famous people that they use as their models.
      Most of the boys end up being random underwear models and stuff, for example. xD

      For some reason, Galena REALLY reminds me of someone but I can't seem to work out who it is!!!!!
      Any ideas?

    8. Hm, especially when you compare it to a full body picture of Onyx, Onyx looks a lot slimmer. It should definitely just be the outfit though, as the body should be exactly the same, and I don't think her head is too much bigger (maybe a bit, but I think the wig placement also has something to do with it).

      Also, I don't know if anyone else noticed but the wording is wrong for her parts... they kind of mixed up the grey and white parts, lol. Guess someone was rushing.

    9. I find her head very natural and I am glad tis not "in your face pretty", hope you know what I mean. I rather have a character than just a very pretty doll.

    10. It's now labeled 'grey' on the page they linked -- so possibly a different page for the WS? Maybe that will mean different prices -- which wouldn't be a bad thing, IMHO, if it means the WS will be closer to the pricing on the other WS MDs.

    17. Now, see, that's really cool. I've seen it more in the MAs, but. I always thought Deneb looked a lot like a cross between Angelina Jolie and Famke Jansen(sp?) and Corvi bears a striking resemblance to Jonathan Rhys Myers (as in, I have a MNM head of him and holding the two side by side, the angle of the nose and height of the brow are different, but otherwise, WHOA that's wonderfully close). Sabik always reminded me a bit of David Bowie, too, but there's someone else he resembles that's always nagging at my brain. Beryl's a pretty good match for one of the actresses from Sin City, though I can't recall her name off hand.

    18. Looks like all those people who complained about her being grey skinned got thier wish! (So it looks like a win-win situation for everyone!)

      A part of me wonders if they got all this feedback and made the cream white one on the sly, like, within 24 hours, to appease and capitalize on sales? I know this girl is going to hit more than one extra wallet because of the diversity, anyway. xD
