Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.       She's $70 more than I wanted her to be, but that's not so bad as I can't order seam sanding for her.
      Had I gotten WS I'd have gotten seam sanding and it would end up the same price.. so I guess it's not so bad!

      I was busy spamming Soom Japan asking when she's going on sale and when she'll be in the store.. hehe xD

    3. Heliot didn't have a Legend body, (no dolls before this year did) - he had a Long Legs body (which was only 2.5cm taller than a regular SG body).

      'Legend version' is Soom code for 'an SG doll wearing their fantasy parts', and has only been used to refer to dolls made this year.

      All SGs (and MD in human form, except for Heliot) are 65cm tall (Heliot is 67.5cm). All MDs released this year, while wearing their fantasy parts, are about 68cm tall.

    14. I'm surprised WS Galenas starting price is so high.
      Compare Cass at $612 and Galena at $765
      They both have large transparent resin parts.
      But from a casting standpoint aren't Cass's fins a lot more
      involved than Galenas wings? A slightly higher price I might
      understand...but not that big of a difference.

      edit: @ blackpaperbag it's the grey skin but also her
      transparent resin parts that account for the $$$$$ price.
      As for Galena in WS I'm disappointed Soom made her
      so high.

    15. I'm the opposite to most people, I'd prefer normal skin to white skin. I think normal skin looks more realistic. I have both Vesuvia and Euclase so I'm not tempted by Galena at all fortunately. I love her wings and prefer the 3 toed front feet to Euclase's two, but given how much the price is going up on these, I'm glad I don't want her. She looks as if a lot of work has been put into her, but I'm getting a Yrie and that's all I need. I think Soom look at the resale prices and realise that a lot of people are reselling the dolls for $1000 and are pricing them accordingly.

      Re: Vesuvia. I was one of the last to get mine and I feel lucky because Soom seemed to have problems when they were making them. All of a sudden they were shipping, then they stopped. We had a month break without getting a doll. I have a feeling they ended up doing the casting themselves just to get the orders out. She's worth it, as I really adore mine, but after a long wait for her (something like 5+ months) I was happy just to have her eventually turn up. For a while I was wondering if they were going to cancel the remaining orders.

    17. You know, I think even if she didn't come in GS I'd have wanted her anyway.
      I find the colouring on the bodyblushing for the WS version a little dull, but I think she looks absolutely FABULOUS is WS. I'd have definitely wanted her and angsted over it because I knew I could justify another WS big girl.
      I can only justify GS because well, she's GS xD

    19. Actually, you know I think Galena would make MUCH MORE SENSE in NS.
      I'm not a fan of NS at all and I'd never get it (I don't like the natural look xD), BUT, Galena is this firey flying mass. NS seems like it would work with her colour scheme.
      I guess they just did WS cause is sells better?
