Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. I have to say, why to Soom always position their eyes like THAT.
      WS Galena looks fabulous because they've positioned the eyes nicely, but that whole 'looking up' effect to make them look more manly/tougher just makes them look STONED and SILLY.
      Sphaler I always wanted to rip out his eyes and reposition them, and now I feel the same with GS Galena!
      She's going to look so much better when her eyes get put in properly.

      I think they do it just because they want CS Galena to look sweet and innocent, and GS Galena to look bad ass, but they kind of failed xD

    6. Galena's biography is so funny. I whipped up an English translation for those who don't speak Engrish :XD: (please excuse the, occasionally large, liberties taken with this - Soom's Engrish is hard to decipher sometimes :sweat)

      [Galena is] Attëala (lit. second - probably a reference to Galena living in the second land), having the property of wind and ruling the Kingdom of Súrëlindorinan (lit. wind singer).

      On both shoulders she has wings, and her lower parts are the legs and claws of a bird, making her a hybrid between human and bird. She has a most beautiful body. Sphaler, the God of Light, is her brother. Chalco, her husband, has left her and has traveled far away, and has not yet returned. Galena wanders the whole world looking for him. She knows that she was to blame for him leaving.

      She searched for news of her husband, and traveled about, and her charm was obvious. While doing so, she met many wise and experienced warriors. They all fell in love with her. A war was waged, and many warriors fought only to win Galena, and they were brave, and showed off their skills to please her. Rumours about her [talking to warriors] were spread. Many of the warriors trying to win her favour showed off their bravery, but also told her of the rumours about her, and taught her strategies. Because of their gossip, Galena knew everything that was happening in the land of mortals, and would sometimes share this information with the other Gods at their banquets.

      One day, she told Chrom that Cuprit planned to send death to his kingdom. Infuriated, Chrom burned down Cuprit's forest of ice. These events led to much distrust between the Gods, and a war began. Chalco, hearing the news of the war, hastened his return from his travels. But before he got home, Chrom learned that all the troubles were caused by Galena's lie. In retaliation, Chrom laid a trap in Chalco's hunting yard, and Chalco became locked within the labyrinth. Galena's joy at being reunited with her husband was cut short, and they were once again separated due to her own actions.

      Interesting notes about Chalco
      He has a 'hunting yard', which means he might be a 'god of the hunt'
      He is trapped in a labyrinth, which may point to him being another hoofy like the minotaur

    7. Wow Soom really thought this out! They pulled EVERYTHING together for Galena's release into a sort of comprehensive story.
      Makes me wish someone had ALL the dolls as fullsets so we could do a ridiculous photoshoot!:lol:

    12. The Cream White Glalena is beautiful! *o* I like her more than the gray skin, it looks kinda awkward with the golden coloring. But I love her feet! What are they supposed to be? A "Pitta" is... this thing.

    14. Very, very tempting, Soom. She's glorious in either shade of resin. And I actually love her nose, since as an artist, I alway prefer a strong, realistic profile. Her facial sculpt really appeals to me in a big way! :aheartbea

    16. I'm so disappointed there's a choice in skin colour... I want both! *_*

      I think my fiance and I are going to see about getting them in splits or something because we both really want just human Galena's to be the grown up versions of our Bygg and Beyla. They're so beautiful, though I do agree with whoever it was that mentioned the colouring of her outfit,etc being bad for the greyskin. The blond wig and dress look really nice against the WS, but on the grey? D: No thanks, I'll definitely not be after those for my girl if I am able to get her.

    18. XD *snicker* from the pictures, it's probably just the back of the dress being bunched up high, but she has a kind of 'bird butt' going on. So..she's based on that bird..? I like the color scheme, but indeed. the grey vers. kind of tips me off.

    20. I've decided. I'm not getting her, only her legs. So now I'll have a pair of demon hands and demon legs floating around, waiting for a grey skinned girl to be my demoness. >.< Since I can't afford Galena. Just what I need; more floating parts...

      (Interesting thing: I noticed the fur on Amber's hands looks kind of like the feathers on Galena's legs. One key reason why I'm getting them.)
