They are definately pupil eyes from what I can see in the second picture. Sparkly and red :3 I think pupils suit her, it's more of a bird thing to have prescise eyes.
Dammit, I'm gonna have to get more ED eyes now >_< All mine are being used. I'm not the biggest fan of soom eyes for some reason.. I might be after I see them in real life with my tiny birdies.

 

Same here. I was hoping Galena would suit for a character of mine, but in grey I'm perfectly safe. Very disappointing-I was hoping for something more upon the line of the little birdies. My trembling wallet sighs in relief!

Looks like I'm back to a Dia for the character or perhaps a basic Iplehouse Yur.

 

I would normally _die_ for paws on a girl.
But I'd be torn on this one - as I said, I wanted Yrie to be an SD (as in, Super Deformed not Super Dollfie ^^) version of Galeana, so paws would also ruin my plans.

BUT... grey skin and paws would totally, precisely hit the spot for me: I love Russian Blue cats and I would not be able to say no to this!

 

Could always give the Yrie or Alk eyes to her if you have them coming, or look for them in the MP when they start arriving?

I assumed they were pupil eyes until I blew up the picture in photoshop and then realized they just look like shadows.
I'd rather have no pupils but you're right, that would make them more birdie!

 

Will the mini eyes fit her?

 

Yep! They're all 14mm so interchangable!

 

Phew! My wallet is so glad that she's gry skin! Otherwise I;d be desperately trying to sell my organs right now. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's pics of this lovely girl!

I'm so glad all the soom dolls are 14mm, means I can swap all their eyes over if something doesn't work.
Are they shadows? They look like pupils to me still @_@
I prefer pupil eyes, so I'll keep thinking it XD Although all the soom girls look awesome with either eye, so it doesn't relaly matter as I won't be ordering the eyes. I can see Galena making an awesome Gothpunk or something for my collection. Will love it when the other pictures come out and she has
1. 2 heads, onyx-like
2. WS or NS, preferably WS. NS won't work as well for my goth idea T_T
3. Awesome outfit. Soom did well with Cass's dresses, and ambers. Please something awesome, and I might actually consider getting clothing with it.

 

Yes I would LOVE a fabulous outfit! Or even TWO fabulous outfits! (though that would shoot the price way up)
While I'd also love 2 heads, it would probably shoot the price up and I'd rather that NOT happen! Plus, if they DO do 2 heads though, please don't let any of them have silly boring human ears! xD

 

The gold-lacey colar visible on the pic makes me think of Mecha Angel Saiph dress, God's Gift the name (I think) was.

 

I was hoping I wouldn't like her, but the grey just did it for me. D: Too bad there's no way in heck I can afford her. Oh woe is me. *cries in a corner* At least I have my Alk coming.

 

Ooh, I didn't even think about the ears .. thats right, she might not have human ears ... i love human ears

I might try to snatch few parts from splits, no way I can afford her as a fullset. Maybe head and outfit, if I like it. I hope the wing parts aren't very heavy, I would think those have limited posing but in the pic she has wing lifted so high so maybe not.

 

I'm guessing she's going to have ears similar to Yrie and Alk.
After all, birds don't exactly have ears, but I think human ears would be very strange on a bird somehow!
Giving her little pointy ears seems the safest bet, but who knows!

All I ask is no human ears.. pleaaaaaaaaaaaaase!
Or if there's going to be human ears, at least do 2 heads, one beautiful fantasy head and one more normal human head.

I love grey, and that is really unfair of them to do that. Yur, Yur, I was supposed to order you to go with my Lunaaaaaa...

Add to that her face has the quiet, plotting menace of my beloved Euclace (who is sitting here chuckling to himself, incidentally, at my dilemma) for the eyes (even the eyebrows remind me of him), with a dollop of Topaz's sweetness around the nose, with the lips meeting somewhere in-between...wow, she's the closest, to me, of the two gods that I have yet seen. As I have Topaz and Euclace, and I am addicted to grey resin, this truly doesn't bode well for me.

Doesn't bode well for me either, even after all the I WILL NOT BE GETTING THIS DOLL I posted practically everywhere multiple times on DoA as if trying to convince myself.

It's strange.. I'd convinced myself that Yrie was going to look a certain way, then she didn't and I was disappointed (but fell in love with her and got her in the end).
For Galena, again I'd created an image in my head that WASN'T the one I'd been dreaming of all year but one that was sort of based on Yrie and that wouldn't tempt me. And of course, this time when I DON'T want to be tempted, Soom goes and does exactly what I wanted them too!!!!! GAH!

So I guess we're doomed together? xD

I was worried when I realised what she might be after the last teenies
Looks like another Soom layaway on the cards for me
