Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     2. LOL, I generally don't make comments on doll sites, but all the catty comments about Galena's skin color forced me to. Soom's monthly dolls are works of art, and the snark about her resin color just seems so rude. You don't tell an artist to change their concept because it's too "unusual"...ugh.

    5. In my opinion that doll is a true work of art just by the little of her I can see. I can't wait to see the whole thing! I really wish I could afford her with the make-up, eyes, wig, blushing, and all the etcs... :aheartbea sigh sigh sigh!!!

    8. aww dang it! I told myself I was done with Soom for awhile unless they came out with a grey girl. Now I gotta scramble for monies... I'm curious about her fantasy parts but I know I don't need them so hopefully that will help my quest. :sweat
      I think her wig looks like it's gonna be gorgeous but I'm not sure I need another blonde wig. Also my Amber wig sheds like crazy so I'm not too hot on Soom's wigs. :|

      plus i mean ... last time i checked the MDs are like fantasy creatures... with horns, hooves, wings ect?!!? isn't it kind of expected that some wont be WS or NS?

    10. The biggest thing I can really say on Galena right now is I hope Soom has a little soomy spy that comes to DoA and reads what we all say about their dolls and how much we gush over them. The people that post negative comments every single doll, I hope Soom doesn't take them as a majority.

      I also like that they pulled out the angry girl looking sculpt. Cass and Cuprit, even if Cuprit was the goddess of Darkness, just didn't pull off that intensity, to me.

    11. really pretty...but thank goodness I'm safe! I'm not a fan of crazy colored resin (which is why I'm ticked at IH for doing a WS catgirl now that I already ordered Luna) and I'm not a big bird fan. can't wait to see the rest of her though!

    12. Can't agree more! And the more unusual skin toning / colouring is something that soom do so well. Sure, there are several companies that offer coloured options but the blushing that they offer and semi translucent resin colourings on certain dolls... brilliant! That's a real art.

    13. I'm the rare on praying for a sultry girl in ws or normal. Or tan or chocolate, anything but a color I can 't pass off as human. :( I loved Vesuvia and Galena has a stunning face that would work for me too and of course she's grey. I hope for an option color and that if there isn't onevshe doesn't have a tender head as well. I might cry. XD

      Aside from my whining, she looks amazing so far and I'm glad so many people on here got their wish for a grey girl! I'm not a fan of the blond but then again in reminds me of a gargoyle, which is cool. Hopefully she has cute claws and talons too!

    14. After Yrie and Alk she is pretty much what I was expecting, but lucky- or unluckily for me I preffer the Soom tinies so I have yet to succumb to giant dollies! I would have succumbed to Sphaler- in a heart beat but sadly- insufficient funds.

      I am looking forward to more pictures of her though, as always it's such a joy to see what Soom cooks up for the month! Like Christmas every month! Even if sometimes you get socks- most of the time you get a bike! I'm already excited for next year!

      Gah- back to Galena- I like the grey skin and I think the lower portion of the wing arm may be transparent resin. I do wish they would make more fantasy colored wigs for their MDs though, blue, purple or red might look really cool with her grey skin.

    15. months ago i said she'll be a grey bird and she is. her wings are gorgeous, i hope she'll have legs like euclase, but... i'm not sure of her face, she reminds me AIL dolls, and i don't like their style. hmmm... but wings.... stupid soom, i need more pictures

    16. Wow, I just noticed the comments on the Soom board. I'd love an ethreal ws version with that haughty expression and it appears I'm not the only one but I'm surprised to see "she would be better" and dislike of grey skin mentioned. I admit it would be better for my character but I can still heavily appreciate their artistic vision with these dolls.

      I thought to mention I would also love a ws or ns option for her on Soom but I'm worried it may offend someone, some where on their team. Probably not, it's not said in spite but I'd like to see MD and support them rather than nag about what I prefer. That's what this thread amount other doll owners is for. :)

    17. D-d-d-d-doooooomed. There's just no WAY I can afford her, but I must have her now! I did a paint job, and got rid of the weird wig and dangly part of her headdress, and realised that she'd make a lovely demoness. DX

    18. Wow! She's to die for. I don't collect girl ABJDs but Galena is no girl, she's divine. I love her wing and colors. I ordered Sphaler, so I won't be able to get her but I congratulate those of you who are getting her. Go for her!
