Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Soom Monthly Doll October (Libra) the Third Land: Euclase - The last judgement

Oct 20, 2008

    1. Yeah, they might, but... the doll would have to be grey too. :(

    2. CLAWED FEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
      I love it!!!!
Ah, Soom, how you delight me!

    3. -continues to droll over those hands and claws., but good point about him being grey, I'd still by the bird legs though . some leg wrapps could fix that grey problem lol

    4. WOA :o.

He's amazing...but I like him better in human form.
As awesome as his hawk legs are...I don't feel anything from them.
Although I feel a bit disappointed on the fact that he comes with so much with that set price while when I.O windwalker came out everything was optional. Adding it all up makes I.O much more expensive in comparison.
But I love his hands still and i think he looks great in grey. I'm kind of tempted to do a split on layaway....:sweat
or maybe wait it out for another gorgeous boy in grey...ah Soom...decisions decisions >.<

    5. Yeah, the claw hands are gorgeous, but...gray? I mean, it limits me personally. He would look odd in non-fantasy stuff; best in the Egypt set, but it's over my budget. So it would be the normal faceup, wig, and eyes for me. No sanding, no clothes.

No biggie since I can sew the stuff myself, but the gray skin is my irk. I'll sleep on it.

    6. Yes, I find him a lot better in human form. I feel bad for that extra head, since there isn't exactly other grey bodies for him, and I would prefer he'd have his own. I don't have a problem with the gray, as I actually like it.

    7. cant you remove grey?

    8. disappointed about the grey too; I dont want a grey doll, so its a no for me.

    9. hmm, I wonder what sort of doll( and how you'd go about attaching them) those legs would fit on... lol he's so amazing but really it's those feet I love. ( the paws would have been so awsome too) claws!!!

    10. I suppose it depends on whether or not the grey is all the way through the resin, (I suspect it is). Even if it wasn't, that'd be one heck of a sanding job :sweat

    11. Yeah, don't think you could remove the grey that easily. o_o Sanding would be brutal.

Gah. I feel disappointed. I dunno about him now. I feel I LOVE his face, but I don't know if the grey is for me.

    12. WOW! I am super impressed with this guy. I didn't think it was possible to make "bird feet" look cool, but these are rather griffin-like. :D

I am a bit disappointed though. The spiffy ears are only for the sleeping head, and I'm not a fan of sleeping heads. And then there's the fact that he's grey. :XD: He really does look awesome but boy does that limit part swapping (griffin boy Onyx, anyone?). And grey skin is really neat but I don't know if I'd want another grey doll besides Kalix . . . hmm. I'll have to think on this boy but I'll probably be passing on him.

But hey, you can't please everyone! ;)

    13. you know how sometimes the pheonix represents scorpio? i wonder if scorpio will have bird feet as well.

    14. Yeah, I think they did a gorgeous job! I really love the concept, but I'm just a little surprised his skintone is so limited. I know some of the others only had one skintone, but I was hoping he wouldn't. The more I think of it, the more disappointed I feel, and I'm leaning towards no as well.

    15. ooo the feet are...I don't know how I feel about claw feet. I love him, I love the grey skin, I love the outfit even though I don't think my character would ever wear it....need to have a think about this...I've been kicking myself for missing Onyx....decisions...decisions

    16. I love the grey resin! Thankyou Soom for continuing to make non-human parts for your dolls XD If only I wasn't broke hahaha!
This is one doll I really look forward to seeing in the gallery in a few months :)

    17. This doll is amazing on so many levels. I don't think there is a part on him that I don't like. I especially love the gray skin; he's a perfect match for shadow onyx. One thing is for sure - he is very unique!

    18. I just might have to keep an eye on the market place for those legs at a later date. What a wonderfull doll, as a libra I am very awed by him!!! Makes me want to see the others alot now!!

    19. I think the grey is totally cool... If I had money to throw at dolls I might get him just cause would be so much fun to customize :)

You could also dye him different colors... with Buff's technique of dying after coating with MSC it wouldn't be too bad. I would love someone to dye him midnight blue or something :D...

Ohhh or make him into a phoenix (since he already has the ashes color!)

    20. I adore SOOM for making the Sard and Beryl legs and now this boy, I had always been whishing for none human legs like all three of those and now this company makes them. I think they would make alot of money if they made those parts for other dolls and such, not just limited ^_^
