i fallen hard, he's a perfect 'pearl' ahem, with the headdress to match, and those lovely features, all grey....tsk make me wonder if silver/soft blue would show up now, but lordy, those hands, and gah gah. I'm still debating those feet >.>

 

That outfit is indeed drool-worthy. It's so drapey and shiny.

 

wow he looks awesome. and those hawk legs took me by surprise but a welcomed surprise. i love these soom dolls. still can't wait to see the December/Saggi one though

Darn... I was really hoping that he would be available in white skin *or* gray, but it looks like there isn't a choice. XP

Oh dear lord....the legs! However, perfect partner for my onyx when she arrives.

Do agree with a lot of people on here in regards to the ears being detachable since its one of the first sleeping heads I've liked in a while. Could mod it I suppose.

Also wish they did have an option for an extra body though - wouldn't even need to be a full body either, since already have the extra human legs with the main boy.

Love the fact they have layaway, just need to sort out the finances and then wait until Feb next year

I might never take out those hawk legs (maybe, maybe not. If I hate them, I can sell them on the Marketplace, probably. ;D), but... OHgod... so beautiful...

AND if I do decide he should be a hawk/falcon/eagle anthro, I get to PRACTICE WITH FEATHERS! woot! =D (cause I want to make angel wings for a doll in the future sometime)

((And you guys, I would TOTALLY be willing to set my acrylics to work matching skin tone of any resin. I can do it. Like, if I decide to sell the legs, what I'd do is say, "Ship me a foot or body part of the doll you want these for, and tell me the color of feather. WILL HAND PAINT THEM TO MATCH YOUR DOLL." And I'd be willing to do the same "blushing" service for any one of you guys, for a price. ;D Just send in a sample skintone, and I'll get out the paints. Seriously. But I love the grey. 33))

I noticed on Soom's notice board about the sleeping head that says "jointed design, it can move freely."

So you can move it up or down?

 

OMG...I'm in love with him even more because he is gray. I would have loved him even more with jackal feet, but I really like the hawk ones as well. I'm definitely going to get him, but I'm not sure about the wig and outfit yet.

 

Even though the hawk legs are tempting, I'm glad to say at this point I can live without, I already have a beryl hybrid, and a gray onyx on layaway (one more payment yay!)
I'm sure though soom will find a way to tempt me again.

Holy crap, I just ordered two. Thank goodness for that layaway. I don't think any doll has ever hit me this hard. So glad they're doing more gray! I keep kicking myself for missing out on Shadow Onyx.

 

I'm so sad. I want him so much...but I really can't justify it at the moment financially. I'd only want the human parts of him, but like everyone's noting, that's not enough to go around! You'd need a grey torso to clinch the deal, and Soom's not selling, so, there ya go.

I'll sleep on it, but I think I'll end up having non-buyer's remorse on this one.

You know I think you could reprime the body with mr resin surfacer and get him at least to blank white, if you were so inclined. The blushing thereafter would be a big job but not impossible. Actually I'd have a lot of fun with that. Heehee.

I so wish I had the money for this doll, he's such a rock star. I keep thinking "Well, you can always get the legs and the head some other time and paint/prime the different parts to work on another body..." But then I think "BUT HES SO AWESOME AS HE IS...." *L* Plus, I have a Sphynx character. ARG.

 

Eh, I don't like the weird matte surface fully airbrushed dolls have, and then there's the chipping problem. I repeated the inquiry on Soom's board but left it open for others to comment or read.

 

He's so beautiful. I wish I could afford him but that's not going to happen

 

I am so amused. It seems everyone went crazy for Grey Onyx, and maybe Soom thought people only wanted a grey boy? I wonder if they will be surprised at the outcry for white skin? ^^

I want two, three...no, like 12 of these guys and surround myself with egyption love I swear, a doll has never captivated me this much before. Then again, nearly falling off the bed from screaming and flailing upon first seeing him is a good sign that the doll must come home. The name Isis is still sticking for my boy.
