1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Soom Monthly Doll October (Libra) the Third Land: Euclase - The last judgement

Oct 20, 2008

    1. Oh god, of all the dolls in the world...

D: I have to have one.. he's a freaking death god bird man Libra. And EGYPTIAN.

It's all of my favorite things in one D:

      Bye bye bank account.

And those feet... oh god.. those feet... O_O

    2. Oh. My. Gosh. I just saw this guy, and haven't been able to shut my mouth for a full 5 minutes.

He has hawk feet. He's grey. He has claw hands. He has 2 heads. That = Sard/Beryl + Shadow Onyx!!!!

      Oh. My. Gosh. *_*

    3. He has friggin' clawed feet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK sorry I'll try to get over this in the next few years or so.

    4. Oh, wooow, he is absoultely gorgeous! I will be drooling all over them when they finally turn up here on DoA. I'm really interested how those ears move :D

Wait till I tell my Mom that her Zodiac-doll turned out to be Egyptian-themed! She may fall in love

Ah, I looked up some information on all these Death Gods, and Osiris has a bird-representation, too - a pewit. Now where have I seen those 'ears' before? :wiggle

    5. I MUST have those clawed feet for another character. He's so pretty...wish I could swing the whole doll, but that's too much money right now. Darn.

Too bad he's only available in the gray skintone, though. I'd prefer normal skin.

    6. It's a handsome headsculpt and I love his outfit, too, but those wing-ears just don't do it for me. They look ridiculous, sorry. I had been hoping till the end that he would have some big solid wings attached to his back to make the impression of a hawk more complete. :|

    7. Not sure he is for me but wow, he's totally spectacular. A piece of art. Bravo, Soom!

    8. -has just hit the buy button-
Getting just hte meditating head with faceup, and now I am sat here trying to work out how to sort out the layaway payments x3 I have my order number and everything... I am assuming I just split the price and send that to them by paypal

    9. chizzie_shark, I am getting the idea that you will be making large donations to the welfare of the Soom Company.

This doll is truly stunning. I love the hawk feet and the talon fingers. Just exquisite creativity from the Soom team. Honestly, I think they may be the hottest company out there.

    10. You guys that just want parts, you can read over this thread and see that there'll be a lot in the Marketplace later. ;)

      On another note,

I just had a DREAM about layawaying him. DX Soooooooomed. One of the locals and I decided to split the price to make it easier on me, but I intended to pay her back and have him for myself by the end. ...I'd never do that; just borrow money from a non-enthusiast... ...speaking of which...

    11. I'm safe)) Don't like anything about him.

    12. Oh god there went the first payment! -gleeface-
      Goodbye £130~

    13. They're stunning works of art, these Soom astrologically-themed dolls. Fortunately for me, by the time I'm able to find my lower jaw where I dropped it on the ground, & pull myself together, they're always sold out.

Whoa, Chiz - I'm seeing broad gold collars of carnelian & turquoise or lapis, & finely pleated white linen kilts edged with gold & jewels....

Nope, nope; one thing at a time.

    14. The 'ears' remind me of the erasers in Aquarian Age.

    15. I know I'll get him -___,-
      Farewell, money baby..

    16. Oh thank GOD he's gray. Then I really don't need him, yay I'm safe! :D

    17. Hey guys, question- can SOOM sand gray resin? I heard that they do, but just making sure...

    18. I should assume so; I think it'd just be like sanding tanned resin whereby you can do it, but it may be a little bit of discolouration for a while because the newly exposed resin has to oxidise, but it generally clears in a few days.

    19. I think i'll skip this doll and keep saving for my Sard..>>

    20. Thank you.^^
I'm still deciding on this boy, and I'm curious whether I should calculate sanding into the equation. My Namu was sanded, so I have no clue how Soom seam lines are.
Does anyone know? If they aren't that bad, I figure I may not get him sanded.
