Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     2. I can say that I'm impressed by Soom yet again this month. Seriously, how do they come up with this stuff?! Anyway, thankfully I'm not in love with him. He is a pretty sweet doll though. The ears are cool too.

    4. I was quite excited at the first picture but scrolling down, I don't like the open eyes head at all and those hands are a bit icky to me. Also there s the fact that he's a guy and I don't seem to favor guy dolls much.

      Ah well, I couldn't afford if I liked it anyway xD

      I was wishing for a gray boy with long ears, but I think this one looks feminine and much less realistic than the other Soom boys. I am safe this month I think :sweat

    12. he is wonderful, as usual, but the "ears" are very strange to me. at first i thought they were wings until i starting to read everyone's posts. i just don't see long feathered ears on an Egyptian figure, unless they are supposed to be part of a headdress. i think Soom realizes that interesting ear additions are a big selling point, so they came up with something for him.
      i also don't know about him in grey. although that would be interesting with the sleeping head, as if he were mummified. i think tan or dark tan would be the way to go with this guy.
      that being said, the costume is exquisite! i would love to have that alone!

    15. As are all the monthly dolls, he's interesting. I am safe from him though, my heart didn't go anywhere close to "thud" when I saw him.

      Then again, no Soom boy has done that for me yet, so maybe I am immune to Soom boys, LOL.

      I like Soom's faces so much because they often remind me of Amano's artwork. More than ever on that one in so many ways. This was the first book of his work that I bought: http://www.fantasysquare.com/fanart/amano/amanosworldmatencover.jpg -- and just... he very much reminds me of that cover, and the same "WOW" that hit me like a ton of bricks when I first saw it. And that face? OMG.

    17. Probably to go with the idea that Libra could also be taken as some sort of angel? (Or with those claws, some sort of bird ;) ) They have to throw some interesting features in there for people who don't get the fullset after all.

      Egyptian things usually are my weakness too, but he just didn't call out to me. Maybe when the full promo pictures come up I'll change my mind. (but I don't think I can afford to be Soomed until my birthday in December, c'mon Sagittarius!)

      Nifty that he gets revealed on my boyfriend's birthday though.

      He's so pretty that I WANT to love him, but I don't think I can. XD
