Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases.     1. I'm really struggling against this boy. The last thing I need is another doll, but he's calling to me! >_< I think, if he were normal skin, I would have caved already. As it is, I don't have much use for a grey doll. But URGH. So pretty. *grabby hands*

    2. Thanks guys... My first plan is to get a bobobie Lilac body and blush it to a more neutral colour using yellow pastels... (opposite of the colour wheel is what you need to get rid of that pinky colour on bodies... Like why concealers are sometimes green or blue)...

      Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut, if I see the colours TOTALLY can't match (as in different tones), I'll mostly track down an airbrush and paint his head a more normal color...

      BUT OMG, how can anyone NOT like the wing head? (I just hope you can open the eyes without a bunch of junk in the way like elastic holding the ears on D:)

    4. If anyone is teetering on the brink because of the grey skin tone, let me give a little push. I got my dark elf Onyx yesterday and the resin color is beautiful and oddly believeable.

      It's got just the tiniest hint of brown (or possibly lavender in some lights) so it doesn't look dead-ish to me (Of course if dead was what you wanted this would be bad news). The blushing they did on Onyx is browny-orangey rather than pink and it looks fine with the skin tone. I'm just assuming that Euclase would be much the same color, but it seems reasonable and it looks better to me than some of the tans do.

      I think this color could easily be pushed toward metallic-looking too, anyone else have fond memories of Tanith Lee's The Silver Metal Lover? I may just have to do that.

    7. Whoot! Just ordered my boy and made my first payment...I'll prolly have to go the whole 5 months.

      I think there are a lot of blushing options for the feet...I'm thinking that I'm going to go for black feathers...my boy is going to be more of a raven than a hawk.

    12. Awesome! I remember in some old thread mentioning how in a dolly dream world I'd make dolls of all of my favorite Tanith Lee characters. :aheartbea

      Lazuli, I decided to get a face-up on my open eyed head due to uncertainty about painting a gray head and I don't want to have to wait for decent weather in the wintertime to experiment. I also figure that after waiting several months to get him I want to be able to enjoy playing with him right away! I can always change it later when I have a better feel for how he looks in person.

    14. For those of you still iffy on the sleeping head, I lightened some pics of it. (I also would've done pics of the legs, but my computer ran out of memory trying to chop the big ass image into tiny bits so all you get is sleeping head pics... unless someone sends some other parts of the ad to me [​IMG] Also, I lighten a pic of what I thought was the sleeping head until I saw it had eyes D: )

      First off, the wig isn't completely black... It's a black wig with blue streaks... the dark pics hide this D:

      Looking at the close up, I THINK his ears are being held on with the peg method B&G use so you can safely remove them for travel and such... Also, are his eyes open a tiny smidge at the bottom or is his eyelashes guled on top? D:

      i also think the eyes look ever so slightly opened....that would be very cool, but i think it's just the make up creating that illusion.
