Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     5. I really wanted a girl... since October is the 'harvest' month, which normally involves mother earth and all...

      But I love his face! I'm very intrigued by the background on his hands... why clawed... and the ears! XD

      I guess this means SOOM worked out the kinks in the gray resin?

      There's something really enchanting about him and part of it is due to that I'm just in love with anything egyptian. Are those wings connected to his ears??? I'm loving his hands though. I can't wait till I see more pics and info on him...that will then decide if he's an absolute must have XD. Of course he'd probably have to go on layaway!

    10. See I am so hoping he is actually the grey resin, just because I love how mysterious it looks!
      Considering the character I have in mind is close with my Bastion who is pretty much ageless I think the grey gives him a kind of 'undead' look but not zombie-esque.

    11. Not to be a killjoy, but production planning for most things are way in advance, e.g., BJD clothing 1 year. And for BJD doll planning, it must be at least as long: develop and prepare the concept and then to ensure raw materials are procured. If Onyx experienced delay, so could Euclase. This is not to discourage anyone, rather, to encourage patience and understanding on our parts. The actual process of creating a BJD is an art which requires lots of time and effort. idrisfynn described the challenge to make colored resin BJDs here

      He appears to be a Super Gem and my guess is that since he's called "The Last Judgement" he's modelled on the Vulture God form of Osiris. Those bird claw hands are fantastic and I love the fact that the vulture wings that would ordinarily be part of a headress are actually attached to his head! :D Non-human feet seem unlikely if this is true.

    14. I second that. I can probably resist him if the wing ears are his only feature, but I'm doomed if he has jackal legs...I would love to have an Anubis doll. (Anubis is usually black, so gray makes sense to me, color wise.)

      However, with the kingly headdress he probably is closer to Osiris...which is still really cool, but not as attractive to me.

      He's too perfect for one of my characters. I was wishing for a doll with closed eyes and a smile. Why did it have to be so soon? ;_; He's definitely the one I've been waiting for. I promised myself no more dolls until March. . . .then Soom does this. DX

    17. Oh yes, you can have more than one layaway at Soom. ;) I have Topaz on layaway as well as Io (for a split) right now.

      I waaaant more pictures of this beautiful boy! :lol: Actually, I'm grateful that the "teaser" is as much as it is. Topaz's teaser wasn't even a full head shot!
