    1. AHK!!! I love him....a dragon lord!!! I have been plotting to get a Chiron and am already involved in two doll projects right now, so if I ever get him it'll have to be on the secondary market, but I think he's fabulous!!!! The doll companies should take a few monthes off for us to catch up every year LOL.

    3. He very well could be, but I still would like scaled hooves.;) If not now, maybe in the future.

      The dragon theory makes sense, so yeah...just putting in my 50 cents. I just want the dragon concept to be executed well; knowing Soom, it will be (their hooves are fabulous, as was Chrom's wolfy feet...so I'm curious about how the dragon feet would be done, and if they'll be my cup of tea to boot.).

    4. Personally I think it'd be so much cooler if he isn't a Kirin but a dragon... that would mean that the feet would be very unlikely to be hooves. Claws is still my bet.. but for some reason instead of being Euclase type Talon claws I dunno why I think the shape of it will be more like Chrom...

      Ahh the mystery! The suspension!

    5. Chrom like feet would be awesome. I'm curious if they'll do that or make them more reptilian? There are so many things they could end up doing.

      I'd still love a Kirin and his hooves, but if they pull off the dragon concept well I could just hunt down Heliot hooves or something! XD I regret missing out on hooves, so I'm still hoping for them dragon lord or not. Although Soom made Sphaler different than the rest, so I guess the dragon guess is safer to say. BUT the style of feet and extra parts is just as intriguing!

      EDIT: I looked for a picture, and it could very well be Euclase like talons...which would be AWESOME:

    6. Actually depends if he'll gong to be a chinese dragon, or a medieval dargog, if he'll going to be chinese dragon the shape could be like euclase, then if he'll going to be a medieval dargon could be like chrom pawls....the waiting still kills me

    7. Considering Mirieu is in the title, my vote is for Sphaler being a dragon. I fell in love with the 1st pic they posted (not the 'new' teaser pic), so I hope not too much has changed. I loved his face in that first pic with those ears and I can't tell with the straight on photo if it's the same (though it is very pleasing to look at too). It is possible for a Kirin to still pop up though. Could pop up for Chalco (my bets on kirin, minotaur, or stag there). I can't wait to see the all of the pictures though. I hope I can pay off one of my layaways in time before Sphaler's sale date ends! I was kind of hoping for a dark unicorn (then my wallet would be safe!).

      The difference between a Dragon and a Qilin are quite obvious to me, perhaps because I grew up in asia with folk tales, history paintings, etc of these mythical creatures? =)
      If he end up having claws, I wonder how many it will be: the Korean traditional 4 or the Chinese emperial 5.

    9. I thought soom might release a Kirin type doll. I'm alot more interested now that I think he might be a dragon, although I still dislike the head.

    10. Nope, definitely not doing anything for me, which is strange, considering I generally like all the MD boys. To me, he just kinda seems like a half-baked conglomeration of other MDs, but I suppose, now that I've glanced through this thread, a Chinese dragon does sorta fit his strange combination of special parts (the hands and horns), and the outfit.

      He's just definitely not... beh. No. Too smiley. He can't even temp me with his dark faceup/fair eyelashes combo, which usually gets me every time. But, eh, it's still nice to see what Soom comes up with, and to hear how happy people are with the MDs. Congrats to all the people that like him and will be getting him!

    11. If we're just going on the title, then the picture I posted a little further up is in fact a Mireu (unless google lied! -shakes fist-). The horns and hands match.

      Of course, Soom could throw out a surprise and do something completely different! (Oh, the humanity!)

      -still pines for hooves even as it seems more and more unlikely-

    13. If they are dragon feet i'd prefer a chrom-like dragon foot as in the Draconomicon variety. (I'm an avid D&D nerd, and a whore for red dragons =F)
      but sadly, thats a western dragon so I think the idea of the feet being more Euclase-y is more likely just perhaps with another toe or so.

      Theres just something about Sphaler XD

    14. ^o.o^ I think he is amazing, oh my goodness...I am sad that many people have not been fond of him. Wow, he is probably one of my top favourite Sooms ever. I guess I am extremely fond of his facial build and expression. Then the antlers and ears are incredible too. I definitely will not have the money, but I am happy to see him all the same.

      BTW Euclase hawks legs or sard Hooves legs i like them both but even a sort of Chrom pawls woulb be great!!!

    18. My guess is it will be four claws for three reasons:
      1. Soom is a Korean company so I'm sure they will go with what is traditional to them
      2. four claws worked well with Euclase so they already know how it will balance
      3. five claws would mean more resin and more weight, I think they will go with the more practical choice on this point

    19. That makes a lot of sense now with the thunder babies and him being a dragon. See didn't before and I was going he's more like Amber and Euclase, but now that you mention the element its pretty clear. Yup probably gonna be claws, but different than Euclase's. Oh well there is the hope for more hooves with the other gods. :)
