I think I'm going to have to wait until my next cheque to see where my finances are (who am I kidding I know I'll find a way to afford him. ;) ) but at the same time another Soom wait and another huge doll... blah. Curse you Soom. (With shipping I'm looking at $300 a month layaway. I just can't compromise on that fullset. If I get him, he has to be complete!)

      Soom's MDs have been able to take 12mm eyes previously, correct? The 14mm he has in the photos look so huge to me.

    3. I think I've been soomed! Not officially though. I need to figure out how their layaway works and then see what options I want. At the moment I want just him, but his fullset is beauitful... The clothes I mean

      I'm almost SOOMed but not quite. Very pretty but, I can't tell if its photoshop pretty or not.:?
      The feet look amazing and go along with the Dragon theme to a tee. (in my opinion)
      Thought about it and the hooves would just look wonky, but I can't keep looking or I'll blow my food money on one of their boys.

    8. He's gorgeous but I don't think I'll buy him. I'm not really into owning fantasy dolls, prefer to look at other people's :)

      If they had released him in red resin, however... I wouldn't be able to resist.

He is gorgeous, but something about the whole package isn't resonating with me like I thought it would be... the "OMG NEED *grabby hands*" reaction isn't happening like it has for other monthlies in the past. I'd love to snag the dragon feet for another project I'm working on, but I'm not sure if I'd be able to swing it. :doh (Plus, the character is a 60cm female, so getting the legs to work might not be possible).

      Plus, I've promised myself no new dollies until current floating heads all have bodies... so I should be good and stick to that resolution. :|

      Now... if they release a FEMALE dragon for one of the other monthlies? Then I'll be in real trouble.

      1. Lay off the Photoshop. I understand you want to present these guys in the best light possible. But all the bloom is making him hard to see.

      2. Show him in NS. I'll probably get him in WS, but I'm really curious to see how the paint looks on NS.

    11. Wow~ :D I have to say, what a difference between the prototype and the final doll. I didn't really like him in the original pic, but his look seems a lot softer now. I really think the feet are awesome. Too bad I don't have a character for him, it'll be interesting to see what people do with him. :)

      I love him, but I was wishing hooves for myself so I won't buy him, i just hope earth super gem gets hooves and I get the money for him ^^ (I know soom has released lots of hooves but i missed them all, and I'm only interested in male dolls with hooves, or a version of amber)
      I would love him to had a tail though!!! And I love ppl can choose between NS and CW, he is a gorgeous doll

    15. I'm sad about the hooves, but the way they did the claws is amazing! I love him! I'm going to decide on it- chances are, I'll be ordering him today (WS to keep his fantasy nature on display. NS seems too human for me.) :)

      EDIT: I'm just curious...because he doesn't seem to come with human legs and hands? o_0 Or is is obvious that he comes with them? I haven't seen any pictures, which is very odd.

      I can't stop looking at the picture with the 'story' on it. Just looking at that picture is what makes me want him, but I can't get him for falling head over heels in love with one picture. But on goodness me.. That picture makes me mee~eelt. :fangirl::aheartbea

      it was my least favorite option for feet but they look so durned spiffy i'm torn.. i have no monies tho.. so i'll probably choke unless I can find an open split for the feet... =( Not inlove with his face..
