1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

SOOM Monthly Doll September the Second Land: Sphaler - Millennium Mireu

Sep 21, 2009

    1. lol leXis! That last comment was hilarious!

I keep picturing him as being quiet and noble, and a gentleman...O.O that's be a total change from what my characters usually show themselves to be...:sweat

still trying to figure out how to buy him...not giving up!

    2. I wish it was October 5th so I can find out if I can afford him! I want my paycheck and my dragon!

    3. I've got some character development to do with him, but he really does seem rather quiet and mysterious- and crafty!

    4. lol! I know what you mean! I have to wait for my paycheck and balance two more months of rent as well!:sweat and just have to hope he doesn't get sold out before then!

    5. Me too...my split leader willing to place our orders on 1 of OCT,
Out of curiosity he remind me a bit Sabik mecha angel but yourger....

    6. I'm on the fence about him... first I saw him and I HAD to have him, then I showed his picture off at work, then I thought... 'Gee I wonder what the God o'the Earth folks will look like...' I don't think they can come up with a better male but, what if?

And then there's Galena, what if she resembles him? Then you'd need both of them... xD I'm so soooo torn, I dunno if I need him or not just yet.

      Anyone else feeling that?

    7. He's really beautiful, but he seems so serene to me...a bit too bland.....but i do love his horns!

    8. He's amazing, the more I look at him, the more I want him. I am a Christian, dragons are not allowed in my denomination. I am unable to buy him just like I am unable to buy Lucifer from Angell Studio. Moreover, my mom won't like him, he's too dark for her. I love him. If I am allowed to buy him without the dragon parts but just as a human, I can seriously consider him. He is not "cheap" no matter how you look at him. I am not familiar with Soom dolls but I've never seen another face like this one. His face reminds me of nobody except himself. He'a s doll I can love for who he is and not because he reminds me of someone else. I think it's only a matter of time I buy a Super Gem boy. I am patient but this Sphaler is magic. The more I look at his face, the more beautiful he becomes.

    9. Maybe peek around in the splits forum in the MP? Hopefully you will be able to find a way to bring him home that will be acceptable. :) (I'm not in or running any so that isn't a plug, but it may be an option if you want the human parts only.)

    10. I think I'm in too much of a finacially crunch >.<

but if I'm meant to get him, I'll either have enough to buy him just before he goes, or I'll find him second-hand on the market. And be able to buy him then. Karma will be at work to provide the means of eventually getting him. Sigh. I'll see what happens. In the meantime, I'm looking at other, smaller dolls to start with now. There's a character who's really insistent on arriving, and she's gonna be a handful, no doubt...:|as pushy and insistent as she is right now...

    11. I'm so sad for you..really..........:(

    12. Bah... I want him so bad now... eying those pictures...>>
      gah thats about almost a full months worth of pay for me....;-;
Damn yous...I wants you Mireu... -hates rent and bills and stuff now-

    13. Your religion and beliefs don't have to have that much influence on the things you own as a hobby, unless you're actively acting against it somehow. Dragons may be bad creatures in many mythologies and belief systems, but I don't see how your 'dragon' doll couldn't be a good dragon? Or maybe some less offensive beast that happens to look like one? ;)

On another side, you could easily create or join a split only for his head or all of his human pieces. His head would be the most important part, because you can find white skin super gem bodies in other places - not easily, but not as hard as or as expensive as it would be to get his head on the secondhand market.

If you can't access the marketplace yet, you could always buy the full doll and keep the extra parts in the box until you can sell them. They'll definitely sell well on the market, and since the spare parts always come bubble-wraped all you would have to do is quickly inspect them for damage before reboxing them until you can rehome them.

    14. I wish they released the un-photoshopped pictures, and the NS pictures.

    15. I imagine that once enough people ask, they will- at least the un-shopped pictures. Quite a few requests have been made, so I think it could be only in a matter of time that soom reacts.

    16. Yah, thanks for the response, I am very strictly against splitting and modifying a full set designer doll. I don't like dragons, my religion forbids them. However, I really like Sphaler's face and SG body. I may decide to get one of the basic SG boy instead but I will surely miss this one if I don't get him. I will also get jealous when everyone else gets him and I can only watch with ENVY the box opening!!! :( I need a 65cm full set boy doll and there are not many. I don't buy dolls easily. Once bought, a doll is never sold in our family. So, I'm careful.

    17. you have an interesting religion. O.O no offence intended. It's just a really different take on buying dolls.

    18. Yah, but my pastors can ask me to destroy the dolls if they found out. I also don't feel comfortable with certain themes. I avoid looking at Angell Studio's dark Lucifer because of his official name. I happen to like him.

    19. You don't absolutely have to do whatever your pastor tells you to, do you? ._. I don't know about Christianity in Canada, but given that locally, the Chinese astrology system is still part of our culture, I've never heard my pastor denounce dragons. ^^;; My brother's a dragon baby.

Then again, I play in the liberal side of the Christianity pool.

    20. Having once earned a week of detention for having a drawing of a (Disney style) mermaid back in a religious school, I can definitely empathize with some of the frustration that certain themes can cause. It can definitely create some hassles in life! While I am not a part of that religion now, I well remember the emotional wrestling I had with this issue. (And in my case, I think it was a matter of someone wanting to see evil everywhere, not that a Disney-style mermaid was in any way evil, but I digress. :) )

Here's hoping you may be able to find a head in the future for him? Perhaps getting a normal SG boy, and then swapping heads from time to time could be a solution if you can find a head later in the year. :)
