SOOM Monthly Doll September the Second Land: Sphaler - Millennium Mireu

Was it Io that they posted pictures of in different skin colors?

 

Does Soom normally post pictures in both skin tones?

I can envision Sphaler is NS, he will look dark around the eyes unless they lighten the eye brows, too dark for me if they superimpose the WS eye makeup onto NS.

I have reservations about getting a WS doll. I am looking for a 65cm boy doll in normal skin. However, I do like WS Sphaler very much. I hope he can come home.

I think they might post the un-photoshopped pictures, cause there's like loads of being bugging for them. Example, me 8D

 

I'd love to see pics of him in NS, it'd be great if they posted some but I kinda doubt they will. I'm pretty sure Io was the only other MD to be offered in both NS and WS, and they only showed pics of him in one skin tone. I have high hopes that they'll post non-blindingly bright pics of him, though, they've been pretty good about doing that with other dolls. ^_^

I'm still on the fence about this guy, so I really do hope for some less photoshopped pics! His face looks great but its rather hard to make out the details, and the face is pretty much all I care about. The dragon legs are amazing but I can barely handle hooves, I'd probably manage to do some serious damage with anything as big 'n pointy as Soom dragon feet. xD

 

Well we usually have Midnitestar around, who lives in Japan currently, and she typically takes pictures of the Soom monthlies once they show up in the Soom Japan store. Up-side is she takes a million pictures from pretty much every angle you could think! Down side is they typically display the MD dolls with their 'fantasy' parts, so you won't see human body Sphaler. Plus, I doubt they'll have both NS and WS Sphaler. The pics should be there the first week in October, as Soom Japan's order period recently has been later than the international site's order period, so the dolls show up a little later.

I have done damage to myself on more than one occasion with Euclase's talons, that's for sure. ^^;

It would probably be better without such a monochromatic faceup. I plan to mod my head if I'm not crazy for it.

 

How odd! I can't speak for Chrom as I wasn't Soomed by him, but I know for sure Midnitestar was able to snag elaborate pictures of Iv and Eliv, Cass and Bygg and Beyla, all with fantasy parts on. Maybe the dolls are being sent back now after the pre-order period's done? But they have been showing up, or she and the other folks taking pics at the Soom store are *really good* with Photoshop, LOL!

I went to the SOOM Harajuku store a few days ago, and nope no 09MDs....:/ Its such a tiny store I`m sure I didn`t miss anything... (I could go check again now he`s up for sale but I went maybe 2 days ago?)

 

I love his face even more. So serene and no scowl.
That would be awesome to see pictures from their store!
