I'm still in love with her, of course, but by playing around with photoshop and changing things (hair, eyes) i'm able to pull her out of the fae surroundings and outfit and see what i'd have to work with should i get her. She's still a possiblity, of course,as she's stllgorgeous and i'm still fangirling over her XD but i'm not one for having a one-outfit-artdoll sort of girl, so i wouldnt be getting her for the fullset at all.

thats what layaway is for i suppose XD with the layaway, you can basically pay for it over 3 or five months, from what it says in teh layaway guide the've got up. You can split it into eitehr 3 or 5 equal payments, and pay part each month. Also means that should you get some extra money that you want to put towards her, you can pay extra to do so, as long as the base payment is the 3rd or 5th of the price. so like if you have a 500$ doll, and split into 5 payemtns, the first month you can do 100$, and the next if you had some extra money you could do 150 or something. Least, thats my understadning of it. Also how i've heard of people payingo ff their dolls early XD

 

How fragile is that transparent resin?? It looks like glass to me.

Yeah, I saw those feet and I do wonder about them. Look at how pointy and thin they are at the ends. I would be worried about standing her on those.

 

Hmm, I still don't get her fairy ears. Are they removable? EDIT: wait, nevermind, I see. XD

Sorta like with thin, pointy elf ears I guess. But dolls don't stand on their ears so its not as big of a deal. ^^;

I was kind of hoping I wouldn't like her as much when I saw more than just the teaser pic, but that didn't happen. With layaway and some less expensive eyes (I don't really like the 'no pupils' look anyway) and wig I think I may be able to get her. I'm undecided about the dress. I think I could live without it, but then she'd have to go naked since I can't sew and I don't have anything that would even come close to fitting!

 

Resin ears and feet? Emmm, not sure it looks as great as on promo photos.

The transparent resin isnt fragile at all... its probably stronger than coloured resin, actually. The resin dyes interrupt the woven structure of the resin itself and can often make a softer product. Ever sanded Volks? It comes off like butter. Transparent resin barely sands... it just scratches. It is denser and at the same time lighter. Also can be brittle if not well poured. I can do some drop tests in the studio too if you want. XD

Also I will be putting in for a pair of those ears if anybody has no need of them! I have a Unicorn boy who would wear those beautifully.

 

Super Gems fit really well into Dollmore Model female clothes, tho not sure about pants. But their body measurements are all pretty close aside from height, I believe. I have several shirts & skirts for Aqua from dollmore.

 

She's cute, but way too Disney for my tastes. I think her outfit and wings look morew like something from the toy store But the doll is really cute, and I love her mouth and ears, and the transparent resin is interesting. Think I want Akando more though... lol

Hmmm... I'm kind of less in love with her now that all the pics are up. Her face is totally stunning, but I think it kind of clashes with the Super-Gem Body... and her dress and wings look a bit Hot Topic fairy to me...

Maybe Libra will be the one... (her ears are still fantastic though... may have to make some like that myself...)
