1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Soom Monthly Doll September (Virgo) the Third Land: Topaz - Honey Dew

Sep 19, 2008

1. She comes with both normal flat feet, and feet that are arched to fit in high heeled shoes. Those are in addition to the fairy feet.

2. oh ya and i heard they where flat! i forgot to add that! but i didnt know she came with three pairs, thank you!!

3. I've never had any doll that had high-heel feet--can anyone recommend someone or someplace that supplies pretty--nothing heavy like gothic nor frilly-lolita shoes to fit Topaz's feet? Just feminine, dainty shoes.
To fit her flat feet also! lol!

4. :D oh mannnnn!
You're getting her? Yayayayayay! Don't forget: I KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE!!

5. naranjita: Yes, blame Idrisfynn! I avoid visiting mfg's pages because of the temptation but when I was told about the translucent ears, I just had to look for myself! Are you tempted too? Topaz's ethereal look and color SO fits with you too!

gayle: Thank you for the footwear information!

6. They sell the SD13/Luts Senior Delf shoes on Soom for the Super Gems so I'm guessing that she will be quite easy to find shoes for.

Since she has so many feet, I may just keep her in the fairy feet and keep her other feet in shoes on display. I have so many shoes and no feet to wear them. That is, if I ever get around to ordering her.

7. I just saw the pictures (late I know!) and I was so amazed with how beautiful she looks!

I will never be able to afford her in such a short time (unless my money from my cancelled course comes back soon) so that makes me a tad upset but I can admire the owner pictures!

8. There IS layaway....^.~

9. yea it was really odd i think a bit of a language barrior.. then i got an email saying my payment order was cancelled and i paniced and emailed them.. turns out when they accept ur payment they cancell that order *_* omg it was scarey :doh

10. I am changing her name too. I am thinking of making her a four seasons faerie, her colors change with the season. No name yet, I have a book with faerie names I am looking at. Citrine is a really good name! It stand for fortune and success.
oh wow thats such a great idea. one faerie but 4 looks. the possibilitys would be endless on costumes and wigs :fangirl:

11. piffie: After reading your note, I sent a note to Soom to advise it that my first installment payment has been made. I wonder if Soom is a small company. I'm guessing it is. It probably has its hands full trying to complete its earlier orders and keeping up with all the new emails.
It's so funny, even though Topaz is "only" a doll, I'm still feeling giddy about ordering her. It may be a long wait, but I'm sure Topaz is going to be one of those extra-special dolls. I've seen a few other Soom monthly dolls in person and they're even better in real life. She'll be my first Soom doll. *still giddy*

12. oh wow thats such a great idea. one faerie but 4 looks. the possibilitys would be endless on costumes and wigs :fangirl:
Thank you! I have already got some things made, and now I am dedicating a special "wing" (you know, a special addition place, room....a play on words :aheartbea) here on DOA and in my home. My hubby has fallen very fast for her too! Something mystical about her he says! I have started off with a winter theme for her and I will display her items here shortly for sale!

13. shes my first soom as well. but i think wont be my last. i absolutly love beryl as well and hope to get my hands on her one day... but thats another thread =P

14. Well, I caved. I was doing so well resisting these monthly dolls (Beryl was my only downfall) and then they have to go and release a fairy doll! I still thought I was going to be able to hold out on buying her and maybe try to pick up the transparent parts eventually, but then I started messing around in photoshop and with white hair and dark blue eyes, she was absolutely perfect for one of my characters. Soooo, yeah. I guess she's coming home after all. I did end up having to stick her on a long layaway, though, so it'll be a loong time before she actually gets here. :( Ah, well. Maybe Soom will be ready to ship her by the time I pay her off.:sweat

15. Yay! we will all be so happy we caved into getting her ^^ Even if the wait does seem like forever :sweat And I think she'll look so pretty witht he blue eyes and white hair I can't wait to see what you do with her :)

16. Ahhh darn! >_< I know you have to order sooms a day EARLIER than the day they supposedly end... and I only get my first paycheck from my new job on that friday! >_<

So no layaway from me... :/ if only you coulda wait a day or two before first payments! T_T She's so gorgeous and i want a fairy so badly... I absolutely love her dress!

But on the other hand, next month is my zodiac! I wonder what that doll will be!

But atleast my lovely Sard will be paid off soon!

17. Duzell ~ I think if you place an order, they give you a week to make the first payment before they cancel your order....even if it is at the end of the ordering period. I could be wrong - so you might ask on the Q & A board.

18. I think you can wait up to a week after placing an order if you tell them in advance. I put off IO's first payment for 2-3 days with no trouble.

19. Oh, I know! Now that I've ordered her, I'm already super excited about getting her. And then I have to calm myself down because it's going to be at least four months. :doh

Thanks, I can't wait to post pictures when she finally gets here! :aheartbea I did end up ordering the limited eyes and wigs anyway because I'm a sucker like that, but they'll probably go to somebody else. Gah! I can't wait for all the pretty fairy pictures to start showing up!
