Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. catdancer: So sorry to read that her ears disappoint you. Maybe in person she'll make you happy again. For me, being able to remove her long, pointy fairy ears for safekeeping was one reason that helped me choose to order her.

      Dolly: I've met Vega in person and didn't notice the owner experiencing ear troubles. One trick that I've used with my Volks elf is to use a bit of white Uhu brand putty to keep the ears on. It isn't surefire, but at least the ears don't fall off with every move. But you've made a good point, the fairy ears will probably be something to be vigilant over. Including fingers, noses, just plain falling. These resin kidz sure can be klutzy sometimes--that's not even counting the owners...lol!

    2. I was wondering that as well Dolly!! How easily do they come off, and do they stay on once you put them on? Are they like clips?? I have no idea. I wish there was a picture of just the ears so I could see what they look like without the head.

      I hope you begin to like her again Catdancer. It'd be an unhappy thing to have waited so long and then not be happy with her once she gets to you!!

      Fereshteh, I had the same thought too. A good reason not to buy her (cause she's so large right?!!). But then I just figured that she'd need a large companion as well, and then there was no problem after that!! :lol: And I ordered everything except the body blushing... you can bet that I'll be shamelessly posting pictures of her every chance I get!!

    11. snowleopard and Mephistol, thanks for replying! It's good to hear that Vega's ears don't fall off at the drop of a hat. And they look pretty stable too, it always bugged me how MSD Sinsia's ears could rotate around in circles. XD

      Fereshteh ~ we are such a bunch of enablers here. ;) I believe her order period closes on the 10th of October.

      AruDeEDoodlEdOO ~ I think Topaz kicks every doll's tush at being a fairy, lol. I love the DIM fairies too though! ^^

      I have a crew of BambiCrony elves and Citrine (Topaz) will be their queen.

    16. I was fine with not being able to get Topaz before I saw these. Now that I have seen these pictures (especially the ones with the pink hair), I'm absolutely blown away with how perfectly executed this doll is. Sadly, I can't get her now, but hopefully they might release second editions next year.

    17. I'm thinking of buying her on layaway (I CAN'T BELIEVE I AM SAYING THIS :doh) if somebody can explain it to me? They say 60 days, and somewhere else 120 days. :? And how does it work exactly, when you put in the order?

      Then, while I will be waiting for her, I'll see if I need to sell the HK elves (or another doll)? (THIS IS CRAZY. :doh)

      If I buy her on layaway, will so be ready at the same time as if I didn't use layaway (does it affect the time it takes to prepare her)? I know she will take a long time to prepare (how long, in your experience), so like many of you say it's probably more logical to use a layaway? 120 days is a long time for a layaway... Could I pay quicker towards the end if they tell me she's ready (I don't know if they do that)?

      And... A stupid question... What eye size does she need? I wonder if it's too late to change my ED eyes order? And I hope that the artist I would like for the faceup will be available to do it by the time I get her...

      See, I'm already making plans for her. (I AM DOOMED. :...()

      Edit: Just wondering... How well do Super Gem girls pose? Can they stand up? Do they fall backwards when sitting (like the mecha angels sometimes do)? I haven't found any thread about this, so if you have one to suggest me that would be very appreciated.

    18. Soom will actually do up to 180 days layaway on orders over... $800 I think? They have in the past, anyway.

      Super Gems post like a dream, but, you have to suede them quite a bit to get them to stand. I suggest buckets of hot glue in the hip cups.

If anybody want to PM me with good reasons why to buy her (posability, resin quality...) or good reasons not to buy her (because she's can't be perfect... can she?), you are very welcome! :D 10 days - or maybe less - is not a long time to make up one's mind about something like that.
