    1. Thanks for mentioning eyes....

      I'm totally new to BJD--Topaz will be my first doll. I wasn't so sure about the pupil-less eyes that come standard, so I didn't get them. What eyes would go best with a faerie like Topaz?

      Apparently eyes come in glass, acrylic and polyurethane? Is one better than the others?

      Soom eyes seem to have less intense colors compared to Enchanted Dolls--or is that just the pictures?

      I can't find information about what actual size Topaz's eyes are....

    2. Hi Sandy!
      Okay, I checked for the measurements on Topaz eye size and there is a Q&A page 35 that says they are 16 mm. If you want to see them in person, Denver Doll Emporium has all kinds of them to look at. I have bought some from there and I am happy with what I got. You can also see them at ebay, and one I found was under Onsumla. Hope that helps!

    7. Are the birthstones different in different countries. I thought Topaz was for the month of November, but her bio says she's a Virgo and born in September. Thanks for any help. I'm a November born person, and I've been wanting to buy myself the Soom doll for my month.

    8. I think Soom is doing their themes by Zodiac signs, not birthstones. Vega = Pisces, Beryl = Aries, Sard = Taurus, Onyx = Gemini, Bix = Cancer, Io = Leo, Topaz = Virgo. I think her name is just a coincidence.

      i just ordered her on layaway, i'm still shaking.
      I ordered her blank, i really like to do blushing and face-up myself...
      I'm still shaking and still slapping myself for buying such a very expensive doll, normally i'm from the budget solutions. ( Buying a budget body and the nice head i want ,fixing/blushing etc as long as i can to make it match perfect, making eyes, wigs,blushing, face up and clothing myself and tadaa beautifull budget doll which makes me very happy), but now i just bought this very above my budget doll, and she is so pretty pretty and beautifull.
      I just couldn't keep her out of my mind...

      and if by any means she is not as pretty as i espected, i could also put her on marketplace.I think there would be people who still want her after order period. (it happened with sard and beryl)

      sigh i'm still shaking lol

    13. I did think and think ...bay...don't bay..*_* because I am a Libra and the next doll will be a Libra doll:?:o
      But now I have decide she will be flying to Sweden Jippii :aheartbea, and now I am hoping that the Libra doll will be ugly:lol::lol:

      She will come to me without body/face up...but the dress - wig -eye will come along whit her.
      ( Fun that 1 more Honey will fly over to Europe )

    15. Having followed this thread, it's amusing how a lot of people prefer other zodiac signs besides their own. I'm wondering and looking forward to Capricorn, the Seagoat. I see that as a creature of many possibilities since it is such an odd creature. lol! I'm hoping that Soom will combine Sard and Vega--if that happens, that boy or girl will be irresistable and will definitely be swimming home to me!
      We still have a number of zodiac dolls to come. I can't wait to see Soom's interpretations!

    16. I too am Libra and am waiting to see what they do- BUT I caved and have topaz on layaway! Thing it, I think Libra and i think justice, scales, blalnce...I can't imagine it will be anything too exciting...knowing my luck it will be amazing- BUT it doesn't matter as I can't wait to get the fairy girl! Ordered her blank and i am looking forward to blushing her!
