Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. I've just recieved my GORGEOUS GIRL:love.... Dia is LOVELY!!! Though she does have very sharp features she is GORGEOUS none the less:aheartbea Her face kind of reminds me of Angelina Jolie for some reason, mixed with a little Lady Death (sorry huge comic book freak here:sweat).... Though Soom did miss my High Heeled feet parts:|... Gotta go on the Q&A now and post:roll:

    7. Oh, wow. I"m the first! My! I have no idea how long it will take for her to arrive, but I'm looking forward to seeing her. I'm just hoping she'll be as pretty as I think she is in the website photos.

      Has anyone tried enlarging a pattern for the Tonner American Model? I am thinking that the proportions are pretty close, and it just might work.

    10. I'm not entirely sure -- you'd definitely need to do some bustline modifications to the pattern, from what I'm seeing of the female Super Gem body in various pics. I have an American Model (uhm... somewhere, haven't seen her in years now) and have costumed another for an auction doll years ago. They tend to be a little 'straight up and down' from hip to waist, and they are fairly average bust. The Super Gem females seem to be a little more curvy than what I recall of the American Models.

      And will you answer a question, anyone who has Dia already... what size wig do you use for her? Soom says a 9/10, but the measurement they give for her head seems more like an 8/9 .... maybe she can do either/or?

      Surreality, I think you are right about needing to give more room in the bust and probably a bit more in the hips.. I'm just hoping that it will give me a place to start. :roll:

      It would be that way! I have 5/6's for the fashion dolls, 6/7 for Bleuette, 7/8 for American Model, and 10/11 for Cissy. Of course Dia would wear a size I have NONE of!!!:doh

    18. Yes I put her on a twiglimbs body and the proportions are perfect IMO. I am presently moving so she is packed up. I have to de yellow and seal the body which should lighten it up because it is slightly darker but she fits really well. She's actually way more feminine thatn I anticipated! Her character is supposed to be androgynous, but she is definitely a woman.

    20. I am totally smitten by this head mold. Always thought it was gorgeous. :)

      I was sort of sad to miss out on Sard, but I thought Dia would work out better because she has normal ears (don't want elf ears for this character). And then seeing Sdink's repainted Dia totally strengthened my resolve to get a Dia head for my boy eventually. If only Soom sold optional parts...it would make things so much easier. *sighs*
