Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. So I was reasoning with myself why I should get him over Lazule and I realized... He's really femme. I'm so picky with girls... I dunno if there is a girl yet that has called to me. That said... I think I would LOVE him as a girl. :XD: Even with that faceup he'd pull it off. Any thoughts?

    2. funnylori i think he could defintely be a girl.

      i like him and i love the lion mask but i am with Ciantha i think i was secretly hoping for the beast from beauty and the beast. in a way this is good i think i will be able to resist and i can just focus on finishing paying off my sard.

    3. Kelly said no to getting the faceup option without the stripes so he'll be a definite pass for me. He's got a pretty sculpt but it's not as mature as either Spinel or Lupin. If he had claws or paws, it would have been a different story but a scarred 2nd and lion head doesn't appeal to me. I do love that wig though.

    5. I just looked at the photos of IO, and am once again impressed with the creativity of this company.
      I love the lion mask. I think the way they have created the doll makes him both unique and playable. Big round of applause from me.

      I'm waiting for a more mature face. I loved Bix, but he was a bit too young for what I want. Still love that crab arm though!

You know, someone mentioned the idea yesterday that maybe Soom's latest dolls are from a new sculptor or some such, and I was thinking how hard it was to compare the SGs and MAs with the older Gems... But in profile, Io reminds me a little of Godo XD And maybe a little bit of Gena. He is young-looking, and would make a great girl too, I think XD

      I really like him, but I'm trying to decide what color resin I'd want him in... XD;; Nice of them to offer an option for that! (Seems like the non-animal dolls are the ones that come in multiple skin tones...? Less hassle for Soom, I guess?) I wish my Sard were here so I could decide if I like that cream white enough to get another doll in the same color.. ;o

      Does anyone think this boy could carry an evil smirk? He looks grim in most pics but in some, you can see a hint of a smile...

    10. I'm definitely getting him, but do you have to order him with a faceup option? :( I'm trying to put him into my cart, but it keeps making me choose the faceup option, and there is no option to say "no faceup". Nnngh. I want to paint my own boy, dernit!

      If I can remember correctly, Beryl had an option where you could purchase her with no faceup...

    12. timchener, sounds like the ordering is still buggy. :( You should always be able to leave out the faceup... I don't remember if it's an actual item in the faceup list, but it shouldn't have to be, going by the other options listed below.

      People have asked about it on the Q+A board, hopefully it will be fixed tomorrow (or tonight for us ;p)...

    13. Yeah, that's what I thought, too. I thought just by choosing nothing (since there is only one option, and that's to get a faceup), it would just default to none like on the other dolls. ;___;

      Nnngh. Evil cart! I even tried with Internet Explorer.

    15. I love his faces, but find it a turn-off that they are unable to accomodate red line removal. If I do get him, I'll paint the faces myself or send them to someone else to do.

    19. Yea i'm definitely a sucker for his face. Beauuutiful. But i'm really even in more love with the scar head....maybe if i get him i'll sell his normal head...guess i can't tell till next week when i get my paycheck. Hopefully he won't be sold out that fast so that i can make a decision.

    20. he wont sell out in a week and if he does they will restock him like they did with beryl and sard (most likely the other monthlies too:). they seem to be pretty good listing them for at least 3-4 weeks.
