  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     3. That's what I thought as well. I love his facial features, but with the pointy nose and small chin, he does look feminine in profile- actually, Vega- sculpted to be a girl- has a much more masculine profile imo :lol:

      But... Io is still adorable, and if i had not just bought a house, I would probably order him :|

    4. If I HAD a house, I would order him! :doh But nooooo, I have to have this fancy little downtown one-bedroom apartment where the Mecha Angel has to live on the couch. Shall I bite the bullet and get a car, so I can move to the suburbs, so I can have a bland little ticky-tacky house with a whole entire floor just for the dolls so I can get all 12 Soom Zodiacs (plus the twins!)? :lol:

      Io is just delicious, and I think his lion head + scarface head make him PLENTY special enough without having claws or whiskers, and I think the tribal lion-totem-warrior is a wonderful & creative take on the Leo sign. But alas, Mr. Kitty, I have no room left on my couch for you right now. ;;^^

      He is very pretty... argh. And leo is my sign, plus pretty much my personality :...( My mother-in-law just visited our new/60 years old house and said something like "aww, how cute, it looks like a doll's house!" ... even before the dolls have moved in :lol: (That means buy a dozen Soom pretty-boys to live in it, right?) I just wish that the house came for free, along with various paint and craftsmanship. :| (Or that I was incredibly rich).

      I wonder when the first Io's will arrive! Probably not in a few months, but... argh, this is torture. *Starts daydreaming about having one of the livingroom walls turned into a huge glass cabinet filled with monthly dolls.*

      Whiskers... :lol: I was already somewhat terrified by the thought of a Super Gem with paws.

    18. I've keep going back and looking at IO. I really like him and am debating getting the doll without face up or body blushing, but I really have no use for the mask..................do you think I would have trouble selling the mask if I don't get the painting? If I knew I could sell the mask separately fairly easily it might push me over the edge, LOL!

      Anyone know how long it usually takes to ship on the monthly dolls?

Compared to the recent monthly dolls like Sard and Bix, I agree that Io isn't nearly as sensational and "special" -- he has all normal human body parts and comes in normal human skin colors. :lol: But his headmold is amazing! Novelty is all well and good but in the end its the headmold that calls to me; unusual mold attributes are just the icing on the cake. And Io's profile is just too cute. :aheartbea

      He is tempting me so horribly. :| I really like the Super Gem size, but haven't been fond enough of any of their boys until Io. And the scarface head is simply awesome (Scarface Cecil/Reisner fan here, lol). Is it just me though, or does his head look unusually small for a SG boy? *is used to Volks dolls* XD

    20. It does seem small, or a small face compared to the manlier, rugged faces of Spinel, Lazule and Bix ;) Several people have commented that Io looks a bit like Onyx, so personally, I'm wondering if perhaps it is actually a female sculpt. ;D (...which would explain why I want it! XD)
