Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     4. I think IO looks like a cute mix of Rex and AiL Bertram. I really like him, I've been a good girl and not purchased dolls in 3 months, and Leo is my sign... lol! I agree that he is likely to be a Super Gem, both by the looks and by the name. If I am not mistaken, the Mecha Angels are all named after stars, so other celestial names seem unlikely- plus they have used short forms like "Dia" before. *rebuttons Vega's shirt* :blush

      That being said... I do like his native American look, but I don't think it's three digits of dollars worth of coolness tbh. And his face looks very young on that body from what I can see, so... guess I need to see more pictures before I decide wether or not to give in to temptation- I was hoping to save up for Lazule with jointed hands. And a freckled SDink faceup. *Hits self*

      Crap, the monthly dolls are so awesome, I am always terrified that "the doll of my dreams" will be released after I have shed all my money :doh

    6. Just by looking at his body and the length of his arms, he's definitely not a Mecha Angel. That body is a definite Super Gem.

    7. I'm guessing the stripes are only if you order him with a faceup. Maybe they'll even offer a with-stripes and no-stripes option for it! We'll have to wait and see.

      Can't wait for more pictures. I'm rooting for some clawed hands and feet...

    9. A no-stripes option would be great because I so suck at face-ups & am often too impatient to get a doll "in house" to have it arrive & then have to send it out straight away to get it's face done.

      And I'm with you on the big cat style hands and such.

      He's not for me.... but he is beautiful. Such a serene expression. I can't wait to see the legs/hands. If Soom didn't at least do SOMETHING catty with them I would be very shocked. Soom, afterall, is full of win and awesome. Now I just assume that whatever they release is going to be amazing. No more wondering about it.

      Though I am shocked about you guys talking about Soom coming in from under the radar... Soom has always been one of my top three companies for sculpts, even before the monthlies started rolling out. I guess its all a matter of taste!




      Oh yeah, PS: ponygery.com ..... she is collecting ALL of the monthlies. SO LUCKY. She'll have her own little sideshow by the end of the year....

      and a female lion would be far more interesting...
      but somehow I like his face... true, it's a very soft face...
      I'm just not attracted to this tribal style... and this lion head hat thing... it's a good idea, not the "usual" cat-ears, but it's too dressed up IMHO. I'm curious if they will give him paws as feet or hands, though

    19. He's gorgeous and I like the tribal "thing" though the lion doesn't quite work for Native American and yet he's not an African warrior either.

      I would have loved to see a lioness...with a fierceness as when she's protecting her young.
