Sooms new Elemental Babies! (Speculation)

Bears would fit in well with the Norse theme overall, Berserkers are literally Bear-serk, the men who would go into a Berserker rage assumed the strength of the bear (all right, occasionally the strength of the bull or the wolf, but mostly it was bear), and that strength and invulnerability came from two of Odin's magic secrets, so they were beholden to him when many Norse actually didn't worship Odin directly.

But what that means is yes, bears would be interesting, and would actually work pretty well! I'd love to see bear paws, that would be sort of amazing! Maybe adorable bear 'hoods' a la Io's lion resin head? Sigh...

I'd actually go on a hunt for Vesuvia herself but I think I'm good with just the one Super Gem. Tinies though I can have a million and feel no guilt! ::laughs::
I suspect we might never see that though..unless next year they get more creative?

I think it's pretty certain they'll continue this next year (as the web brochure thingy says Episode 1.. clearly there must be at least an Episode 2).. but I wonder if they'll keep up with making tinies AND super gems or if they'll go back to just super gems?
I think they might have made even more money alternating the way they have mind you.
After all, those who like just larger dolls are getting a month break inbetween releases so they have more time to save up and potentially buy them all.
Those who like smaller dolls also have the month break, but they also have the possibility to buy BOTH tinies each time, meaning they're paying as much as a super gem MD.
Those who like BOTH large dolls and tinies, well Soom has a permanent hold on their wallets!xD

So yes, if they continue this next year, I would LOVE to see tinies in loads of interesting colours.
Think about the Bambicrony coloured elves!
I would like real blue, green, pink, purple!
They should however still always offer WS as an option too, as not eveyone likes the weird colours and they might not make enough sales with coloured dolls alone?

Yes. But would the little ears make you go squeee? (Note: I would squee.) Now if they made bear tinies, imagine what they could do with a bear god or goddess. He or she could be all winter style, with a fur cloak or something, and furred bear boots. Maybe with wild dark brown hair and dark eyes. Ooh, and a fang necklace, or something equally intimidating, like claws. This is starting to sound better and better to me.

Tinies with bear ears = squeeeee!

I think bears would make me happy as I don't think I'd really be into them!
I don't know why.. the idea seems fantastic but... I think I can imagine them being like Hati and Skoll in some ways.
I LOVED their little faces and EARS, and as a result really regret not getting Hati, but yet still something about their wolf theme just didn't call out to me.
If someone had told me NEXT WILL BE WOLVES I'd have probably gone ooooh yay, but for some reason it did nothing for me. Bizzare. xD

I'd like to not want the Earth tinies, just because I already have 3 of this years tinies, probably 4 then of course Cuprit. That seems like Soom has enough of my money this year!!! xD

 

Then you should be hoping for bears, no? But you got Cuprit, and she absolutely kicks bee-hind. I hope you're going to put up a photospread sometime. I didn't buy her, but at times I wish I had. I think she'd be an ideal Titania, for instance, from Midsummer Night's Dream. Someone else around here had had that idea. At that point I sort of when... oh yeah! Then again, I sort of dreaded feeling obligated to find her an Oberon.

 

Haha, no, I think I have less lives than that by now lol. My user name for everything has always been Catw07 because 7 is my lucky number and I have always liked the DC character, Catwoman. It was something I came up with in 8th grade and now, a decade later, I'm still stuck with it.

Edit: Just realized that this whole comment was OT so time to get things back on topic. I'm glad the new Tinys wont be fairies or angels. I'd most likely want them if they were. With birds, I'm safe...I hope! I don't have the money for any more MDs. That being said, I hope there are no cats in the future! I'd have to get them for sure!

 

You're, like 23? Okay, no need to kick your 13-year-old-self's tail (<-- bad pun). It's not a bad name to be stuck with, though, as DC goes, I like the Triad from LSH. She's great! All three of her! It's left me predisposed to orange, purple, and white, and bicoloured eyes, so don't feel bad. At least Catwoman can settle on a colour.

I fear that if Soom release the perfect Oberon, even though I'm not interested in boy dolls, I'D WANT HIM.
Actually.. to be honest what I'd really want to do is put a twist on the whole thing and make Oberon a girl. So if I see the perfect female Oberon, I'm doomed. x_x

I actually have Cass's human dress and eyes coming for her (and shoes but I doubt I'll use them much) so I think that's going to bring out her character even more!

But YES. I am hoping for bears! Bears or something that's just ridiculously cute.
Generally I don't go for something that is pure cute as I prefer more mature sculpts.
For example, you can see maturity in Glot and Glati or Beyla and Bygg, Eliv and Iv have the fabulous original fishy parts... whereas Hati and Skoll seemed like GIANT BALLS OF ADORABLE, but I had trouble seeing them as anything else other than children.
Something tells me though that because Eliv and Iv didn't sell as well, they might pass on the smiley faces from now on, and because Hati and Skoll didn't sell as well, they might pass on the pure cute.
We might be seeing lots of pouty mature dolls from now on! Meaning I'm doomed!

 

God, coloured resins for tinies would be awesome, I'm hoping for more companies to do pink tinies.

Giant ears on tinies would make me squee. I'm so unhappy I missed Hati and Skoll. EARS!

Also, for the big bear god, YES. I would love some giant fur cloak and bearform. Big lionmane style wig would be needed, imo. Long and dreadlocks.

Yeah, I'm really interested in this, because if they are doing birds, I officially have no idea what special thing they can do to the heads to make it birdlike. We might see armwings, but to be honest, I can't see a way that's going to look good on a small level.
Ideas:
Beaks (maybe in an Io mask style way)
Wings I assume resin wings like the other tinies, but with more feathering rather than rounded edges
Arm feathers, maybe wings at the elbow or something
Coronets with wings, like greek gods or something

It'll be interesting to see how Soom tackle the tiny birdies. I'd personally love to see feathered ears (similar to Chrom's furry ears, but with teeny feathers), and feathered arms/hands (like Amber's furred fauna arms/hands). I'm still not a huge fan of Euclase-style claws, but I can't see Soom releasing birds without them.

I'd rather Soom not make dolls with beaks - after seeing how Iplehouse's Luna turned out, I'm fairly sure I wouldn't like a doll with that much animal to their face. Beaked masks would be awesome, though - maybe masquerade-type masks. Although then they'd probably come with the outfit instead of the doll, and that would be a shame for those of us who usually pass on the outfits

 

I'm thinking about Euclase-like wing-ears, only cuter and not that long, with birdy tinies. And claws for legs. It'd go with my general impression on how Soom does animal-like dolls. Feathery hands would be too cute as well.

 

That's exactly what I've been wondering.. they might go with ears like Euclase, Euclase claw feet, perhaps fancy arms in some way.
Then they'll bring Topaz in by making the birds WS and giving them fairy-esque clothing like her's and perhaps transparent parts.
