Not sure where to put this, but I know Uyoo can fit in a lot of Barbie clothes. This site has free patterns for LOTS of Medieval, fantasy, historical Barbie clothes: http://molendrix.com/galerie1.html Carolyn
My Aren fit into the couple of Jenny outfits I have, no problem. Also, she can wear all the Jenny shoes I'd gotten for 27cm Obitsu girls. She can wear some Obitus shoes, just not the cowboy boots. We won't talk about what I had to do to get those off her foot...
I have to take pix of my Uyoo. The wig that came with her (2nd owner) was so --eh (shrugs) -- she's been bald for weeks. I glue sueded her joints because she was the kickiest little thing!
I'm waiting on mine impatiently. She's going to be my first BJD and I got her off of e-bay....sooo...any day now. *tapping foot and looking at watch.*
carolyn- thank you for the link to the paterns they are great!! kamika ai you girl is fantastic, I love the blushing...
my uyoo is here, she is pretty I changed the brown eyes for little gienies green eyes. http://www.flickr.com/photos/7648297@N03/ for more pictures
Hello, I would like to share a picture of my Uyoo. She is a Time to say good bye Uyoo and was supposed to be Gina Sophia, named after the famous actresses Gina Lollobridgida and Sophia Loren. I planned to put her in Silkstone Barbie clothing to be my little 50ties girl. She turnded out to prefer a different style and I now call her Sheena the punk rocker....... This picture was taken by my daughter at the BJD meeting in the Netherlands. Sheena loved it to sit next to that cool guy!
I hope it's okay to dust this thread off and put it on page 1. I just bought a second hand Uyoo Elf and I can't wait to get her. I think she's the cutes little thing ever. So are you still playing with her? Do you still love her? Dustbunnie
I've developed an Aren more. Been looking at the Uyoo, though, thinking they don't make a male in that size, wonder what the modding possibilities are.... On another front, keep an eye out if you see any Hanna Montana clothing being sold separately. The outfits are very modern and casual, with layers and things that I'd love to get, as opposed to the more polished Barbie style of dressing.
I love mine too. I have her sitting on a little shelf right by my bed and I play with her all the time. Mine is the regular sort, without the elf ears.
I can't wait to get mine. I suppose I should be making some clothes for her. The problem is that I already have two other dolls that doesn't have that much clothing either. Guess I should go to a toy store and see if I can find some Barbie clothes so she won't have to go nakid in the beginning. Dustbunnie
Just thought I'd share Uyoo love. Here is Miss Uyoo in a new Tinybear wig. She snatched it off the head of my new Tinybear BonBon because it matches her dog (and her kitty's nose).
Well, ya know that just means BonBon will be attacking Babs again, LOL. Someone better let BonBon know Bab's hair is permanently stuck on her head or we're gonna have an ugly slaughter at Linakauno's!!! Poor Babs, she's been beaten up by so many BonBons and Cocos lately (not totally undeserved, but still, it's getting to the point where I'm feeling sorry for her!) LOL
