  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     1. I think it is most likely more what TheFontBandit said too many lost casts to make it profitable. I do think the tan was gorgeous although it was much lighter in person. I love the white skin so this doesnt affect me but it sure will affect the secondary market. I did see a Phillpa on the MP in WS and she is too die for.

    2. Tan Queena was totally on my list of dolls for the next year...I don't find the WS/NS so compelling. I hope they do put the date of discontinuance back. I will definitely get one with the special faceup.

    5. This is frequently a problem with darker casts.

      Pigment needs to be added to the resin to make it darker and this makes it harder to set. Also, it doesn't help that the dolls come from a very humid Korea, which makes the setting even more difficult.

      Iplehouse was having a similar issue a few months ago.

    6. How devastating. I was really wanting a tan skinned Philie for a character I've been musing over for a while now. I was putting off purchasing her because I didn't want to do another layaway and would have rather saved. I feel this is entirely irresponsible by the company to not forewarn its consumers if they were planning on making something limited. Especially when it's out of the ordinary.

      I also wanted the her default tan makeup. Ugh.

      I asked Souldoll (on their Q&A board) about the tan skin being discontinued, and they replied.

      So it sounds like this is a supply issue, not a permanent change, and they're looking for a new source for whatever they're missing for their tan resin mixture.

      I'm so relieved.

    13. I wonder why they pulled the makeup options. I love Queena and Phillpa's faceup options. I am fine with white skin but I did not save any of the faceup photos now I am bummed.

    14. I saved Queena and Phillipa's faceup photos because I was planning to order the special Queena with tan skin later this year and maybe get the Phillipa next year. :(

    15. Me too. Those pics are putting me off. I think Souldoll have a new faceup artist as the pics of Hewer also show the same sort of faceup with the brown paint under pale lips. Makes her look like she has one of those little beards that were popular a few years ago. I need her in tan.....I hope SD get loads more of the missing ingredient. *crossing fingers*

      I would rarely agree with that comment but I do. I do not like the new promo pictures on either girl. They dont even look like the same molds. They look almost a like and very boring. Queena looked exotic and sensual with her faceup.
      Oh, well I prey for the super dark tan for Queena. I would love to make her my Akasha.
