Souldoll Shiva [With 4 Arms Gray skin]

I think, if I love Shiva as much as I love Kayla, she'll be totally worth the price and I won't ever consider selling her.
It wouldn't save on shipping for people who wanted to buy her from me potentially in the future though as I live in JAPAN and hardly anyone else does. ^_^;;
It would save on time for people too, as I expect there's a 2 month waiting time on Shiva at least.

I wouldn't have time to save up though because I have to have the outfit too and that part at least IS limited.
I actually think what would be cool is if Souldoil keep the sculpt basic, but make the body painting/faceup/clothes limited. That would justify the price, as many companies' limiteds are just basics with special clothes and makeup.

I'll have a think anyway. Asked Souldoll when they think the outfit will be sold out by so I know how long I have before I'd HAVE to order her.
For me I'd personally rather a Double girl instead of a zenith because they're just SUCH a nice size for me. Zenith would be a bit big really. So I guess I'm hoping they release a fabulous fantasy resin double girl or soulkids girl in the tarot series to stop me needing Shiva. Don't need another doll THAT BIG. ::laughs::

 

If the wait is 2 months, nobody will be getting their Shiva until late May or so. I ordered on March 23, no painting, just outfit for extras.

I have absolutely no idea what I'm going to do with an extra torso and arms though. They didn't have that bit of info up when I ordered.

 

Oh! I thought Souldoll and Soom were a match the other really important thing I want to know is how would a Soom SG head look on the Souldoll chest/neck piece if it was a hybrid, I was thinking if this could work I would try to get a Cass head.


I have never ordered from Souldoll before, but I wonder if they would let me order Shiva four-arm in grey skin and then have just the torso and two arms in white skin, does anyone know if they might do something like that? are they pretty flexible?

Sorry! that is only for the 4 armed version; it comes with two torsos and six arms (I think it is because of the way the arm parts for the 4 arm are made) so she can be both.

 

She is beautiful just as a lovely girl.( sighs) Another one on my list.

 

Suddenly it just occurred to me, what's the situation with her wig?
Does she come with her default as pictured? Does she come with a random wig?
There's no option and it doesn't seem to be mentioned.
Is it part of the helmet even? ^_^;;

 

Midnite -- I think I asked them when she was first released, and they said the outfit would be available for "several months". I think they probably only have X amount available like Chiron's was, and then when they're gone, they're gone. I don't think they're expecting many orders... my dilemma was about the outfit too, I reaaaally wanted to get her with the outfit if/when I got her, but I don't see it happening anytime in the next few months. The size intimidates me too (I have one supergem and i find it absolutely huge), and told myself NO MORE of that size, but aahh Shiva is so beautiful..... I'm tempted to just try and get the outfit only somehow, so I can have it for her in the future, but then that kind of commits me to buying her in the future for myself, too, so I'm all wautughg what to do!

i don't think she comes with a wig? none of the zenith dolls do anymore I think, and I don't think it would be apart of the helmet since the helmet is only resin. They sell straight plain black wigs everywhere though, like leeke and such.

 

How odd, a fullset without a wig? That seems quite strange to me, but wigs can be taken care of, naturally.

Yeah I think fullset without a wig is quite odd indeed. Especially as both Kayla and LE Dollectable Winy's wigs are the nicest I've never seen, I'd definitely be wanting the same quality for Shiva too.
It seems odd to say, 'Please give us $1200 for our fullset doll. but sorry we're not going to give you a wig. Not even a random wig.'

The order page has an option for grey skin & 2-arms, so I don't see why you couldn't have that option? Check the drop-down menu, there is an option named "Grey skin -- 2 arms"

Re wig: I'm almost certain the "hair" on her in the pics is part of the helmet, considering how close it sits to her head. If there was an actual wig under there, more hair would likely be peeking out, or at least the helmet wouldn't be able to perch so closely to the doll. Think you're right in saying it's part of the helmet; they might've secured it to the inside with some glue maybe? It would be nice if Souldoll went ahead and threw in a random wig with her if you wanted her to have hair without the helmet, but...I suppose since the fullset would still be coming with everything in the pics, one couldn't call it unfair :P

Too bad there is no fancy wig for her like the limited ones they do with flowers and things. SD's wigs are so gorgeous, it would've been a pretty epic do:<

I don't think the hair is part of the helmet. There are wigs that lay very flat, and the helmet doesn't look super tight. I think it is more likely that they just used something to hold the hair in place to keep it from coming out from the front of the helmet. I really hope not anyway. How am I supposed to paint it without getting the hair messed up?

EDIT: I had to ask them a question anyway since for some reason my order doesn't show up in order status and I don't have any points for the purchase *sigh*. I went ahead and asked about wigs while I was at it.

I heard back from Souldoll about the outfit situation, and they said that they think they have plenty of fabric for the time being, and that they'll be able to keep producing her outfit for at least half a year.
So those of you who want her as a fullset but can't afford her right now, looks like we have some time to wait!

I know I'm going to hold off until the next Tarot card doll is released for sure, because I would prefer another fantasy resin Double girl rather than a Zenith, as fabulous as Shiva is! xD

 

Heard back from souldoll about the wig

 

Okies, maybe it's morning me... But aren't they saying in line 1 that they are including a default/random wig, and in the second line they're saying they're going to sell the wig separately, but I can't tell if they're offering it as an option with Shiva, which means I should wait to order her, or just as a separate wig option?

I would want this doll with 4 arms in WS with default makeup, but I'm not sure about that helmet, while it is nice I would want her with high heel feet instead, so clothes and such I'll consider later. She is truly unique and would scare the crap out of nosey kids.

 

I think they are saying that right now default or random wigs are included with the zenith dolls, but in the future they will start selling the wig separately, likely as another choice available on the order form. But I'm not certain.
