Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. Wow, EMS is working fast this week. She left Korea yesterday and is already through customs. Knowing my luck the tracking will cut off now and I wont see any more activity until she's delivered. And you just know she'll be delivered at a time when I'm not at the house to sign for her and then I have to find the time to pick her up. Then I'll take pictures for y'all. Anyone looking for natural light in particular? Otherwise I'll stick to inside where I can control the dirt. And then off for faceup this weekend.

      Also, I figured something out, she seems to be costumed in this amalgamation of styles from Thai/Cambodia/Balinese etc classical dance. Mixing male and female costume as well. Which means I have even more freedom in the faceup because I can mix and match. Hah!

    2. omg omg omg omg!! I'm so excited for you!! I can't wait to see what she looks like in person! I am SO curious about that 4-armed chest piece. I might have a Shiva coming to me for Christmas depending on how this goes! :D What kind of wigs do you have in mind for her?

    3. right now just a plain black wig. it really depends on if I find something to catch my fancy.

      Edit: Grr. I missed her by half an hour. I had to stay on campus late and the stupid postal annex closes at 4. I'll get her tomorrow morning.

    8. She has a really small head though. The helmet doesn't fit quite right because the wig is too big! I'm pretty sure what I have is 8/9, so I'll have to go down a size.

      I'm pretty sure the helmet is going to be gold. I've been planning the Bali/Cambodia/Thai look. She seems to be a fusion of ideas just on the level of the sculpt and costume, I can pick out certain aspects come from India and certain things are Balinese and certain bits are more Khmer, etc etc.

      I will tell you that wrangling four arms is hard! She's getting glue sueded as soon as possible.

    9. Awww! Seems like one of those issues that a lot of Souldoll sculpts have (smaller heads)--I sometimes wonder why they don't just send 7-8" wigs with the gals if they have smaller heads. And that is too bad about the helmet! I wonder if you can stuff it to make it fit better.

      Oh yaaaaaay!! I think that will be a really amazing look. I look forward to seeing her all done up.

      I can imagine, but once the four arms are sueded, she will be posing like no tomorrow!

    10. Last night I looked at this doll and said, "To hell with it" and filled out the whole order form. I got to the part where I had to enter my credit card number and I managed to yank my hands away and slam the laptop shut. :(

      *wails*

      I cannot charge another doll until I pay $3K on my credit card - I swore to myself.

      But WOW, when will a chance like this ever come around again? She's so unique.

      HELP, THE TEMPTATION!!!

    11. Help you have called for and help I wish to give!!! I myself have been tempted by this gorgeous goddess, and all I can do to offer some words of comfort is--she isn't limited! You have all the time you need to order her! :sumomo: It will be even more satisfying if you get her after your $3k debt is paid, IMHO :D

    13. So the owner pics have sold me, I have to get one. Having a DD Anne Lotus Near has got me crazy for multi armed dolls now! XD

      I've bought a Spiritdoll Freesia head to put on the body (She's going to be heavily clothed with a high necked jacket, so I'm not fussed about resin match), but I love the face so much that I'm sure I'll keep the head to swap with from time to time. She's just too pretty. Now to save up to get one!

    14. Ahhh owner pics pretty much cemented the fact that I am going to have to get Shiva. I wish somene would get her in grey skin, though. I've seen pics of grey skin Chiron, so I know I lilke the Souldoll grey, I just want to see grey Shiva with four arms because that's what's coming home here, eventually.

      I reckon, after I have finished my current layaway, and if Iplehouse does not release a new tanned man soon after, I'll put my GS shiva on layaway. Lollll so many details of planning.
