The beautiful metallic body blushing for Shiva isn't available anymore She's such a gorgeous doll, but unfortunately I just can't imagine where in my collection she could possibly fit in!
Yes indeed, her body blushing is gorgeous. ;3 But if I buy her in the future I won't get her with body blushing, either way. If she would have been a limited doll she would have been sold out very fast...but as a regular standard doll not everyone feels the need to buy her because there are so many other limiteds who caught attention in the last time. >.<
This is so true--I know I would have bought her if she was a limited! But then after carefully thinking over it (over the past YEAR!) I realize that she doesn't really have a solid place in my collection, and she most likely would have been re-homed. With her being un-limited, she gave me the time to really focus on the dolls that are truly meant for my collection. The funny thing is, she is probably a LOT more rare than any of Soom's limiteds, and if Souldoll discontinues her (like they recently did for some of their other Zenith dolls that were no longer practical for them to make) she would be nearly IMPOSSIBLE to find on the second hand market. Just goes to show that while you can have plenty of time to assess if Shiva is right for your collection, no one who has plans to buy her should take it for granted that she'll always be available
Hi! Congrats on your order. I also ordered grey Shiva with 4 arms but she has not arrived yet. I can't wait to recieve her though I kow it will be a while.
It definitely goes to show that when people wish limited dolls weren't limited, it doesn't mean they'll actually want them when they have the time to think them over. I agree with the limitedness thing, some of my limited dolls are the ones I see everywhere, and then some of my other dolls are far more rare. XD
