My Nicky wears a 7-8. He has a migidoll wig. It's a little slippy though, so something closer to a 7-7.5 wig might be best. Or if you are handy with a needle and sewing elastic, you can carefully stitch the back of the the wig on the inside base. Just enough to give it a snug fit.

I did that with my boys' wig and it no longer slips, and you can't tell at all that it's been fiddled with.

 

Okay, So I just went ahead and ordered my Rye! I'm super excited about this girl.
She is going to be albino and have a Mori Girl style. I still have to get her wig though.
I think I'll write down her measurements and do some sewing for her before she gets here...that's what like a three month wait? That's how long I waited for my Lampard anyway.

 

I just got my boy in Jan, and I had ordered him in Sept. Souldoll was behind at the time though. It would be a safe guess at 4-ish months. However, it was Xmas time too, and they were behind.

It was worth getting my Nicky completed though, and the dolls are gorgeous.

 

I guess that just means I will have more time to sew for her, and buy things for her before she gets here.
It is worth the wait and I am already getting her earlier than I thought I would, so I can't complain.

So do you think a leekeworld 7-8 would fit her? I know most of these girls have pretty small heads. My Zaoll is the same size essentially and that's what size she is wearing.
I keep thinking about that free doll event drawing and wondering to myself "If you win, do you get to pick the sculpt or do they choose at random?". The chances of winning are pretty slim though so I guess I shouldn't spend too much time thinking about it XD

Edit: Someone on the last page mentioned that a 7-8 fit their Giselle so that is what size I will go with. Thanks!

 

Does anyone know what other company's now match Souldoll's new pinker NS?

 

Uhm...I think Dollzone does, I can't remember at the moment, but DO remember a topic about a Souldoll Ryucine on a Dollzone body.

Soom was said to match, and...maybe longSool(sp?) I am also waiting on some illusion spirit jointed hands in ns pink. Hoping they will match.

Also...I have gotten mixed reviews about Dika Doll matching...but I dunno.

 

How recently did it get pinker?

 

Like with the new 2013 dolls, the resin is WAY pinker. My Eliot is from early 2012 and my friends Kagel is from the end of 2012 and he's just.. so pink... like luminous pink XD

See I was hoping for a Dika doll match : < But at this point I'll take anything! As I just found my grail head! So far too happy atm to really be that upset if he doesn't match a body perfectly.

 

Oh whoa. I have an older Souldoll head and she's a match for Luts/Nobility Doll, kind of a peachy pink. Maybe this new more pink resin would match more recent Soom, which has had a pinker trend lately?

My Nicky is a 2013 doll. He's very peachy pink and it was Dollzone and Soom that were reccomended to match. Dika was recommended too, but all there is for ref are 2009-2010/11 pohoto comparisons...so I can't really say.

IceMutt has longsool hands on her girl, the match seems pretty good for resin, and her doll is also a 2013 Souldoll. I'm waiting on my illusion spirit handsto come in, which are NS Pink.

I'm at the 45 day mark though... :I So...still waiting. >_<'

Soom and Dollzone would be where to go. And yes, Soom is so pinky! lol! My silt is still pretty pink-ish (more peachy, as I am sure he's mellowed) compared to my other dolls. Even after 3 years. :P

I try to make differenf brows, but for this boy they fits perfectly!

 

Instead of just barging on here with my questions I thought I'd post up my boy X3 He's a Morse and in the old NS, the body he's on is a NS Bobobie body. The match is 99.9% perfect and the head fits and works well ^^ My boy isn't that built so for me the BB body was a slender alternative! I'm currently waiting for his twin brother to come home, after many months desperately searching for another Morse X_X.

 

Your boy is perfect) One of most pretty molds of Souldoll.

 

Has anyone got comparison photos of the old NS with the pinker NS?

When my second Morse arrives I can do one for you ^^ I own a Chloe and a Morse in the lighter NS and then an Eliot whose in the previous NS, my new Morse will be in the pinker NS from 2013 ^^

 

Oh thanks! I was hoping to hybrid the Feeple F60 body with a double head - I already have the body and it is a near match for my 2011 SoulKid NS. I really like the colour of that, and I prefer yellow over pink, so hopefully it's not TOO pink...

 

well since my boy came in, I had a 7-8 size wig ready for him, but it doesn't fit! it's way too small I'll have to get a large size I guess

 

I think the girls wear a 7-8 but the guys wear an 8-9. I bought an 8-9 on leekeworld and it seems to fit my Lampard okay. You have to pull it down over his ears, but other than that it works well. I know some of the heads vary quite a bit though, I guess Morse is incredibly small. My Lampard actually has sort of an egg shape to his head which I evened out a little with the strip of velcro underneath.
