Oh my, I love the Kyle version of the Hanged Man. Just wished his normal eared head would have the same frown as the gargoyle head. Also, am I understanding this right, we can only order one head the gargoyle head or the normal head? Why not both??
I admit I totally want one just to hang him somewhere over my computer to watch him all day long and creep other people out. Finally a company that solved my problems with where to keep all those dolls. Just hang them from the ceiling.
I'm so happy they made such a long order period for him, so hopefully I'll be able to swing him in late February.

 

In a way I am very tempted... Amon looks really good and I don't really have a doll that size.
Does anybody know what wig size Vito takes?

 

I'm kinda here, too. Since it's a creature it might be able to sneak past my size limits, and the long order period gives me a lot of time to see if I can budget for him. I would like to, I just don't know if it's feasible. (Or would be a gateway drug to the Zaolls I covet.)

 

Oh no, Vito size! Was hoping I could steal his body for my Monzo, but alas, not so. Still... tempting, very tempting. Just not sure I like his head sculpt very much, but I think it may be his faceup. Those uber-bushy eyebrows and the pouty look just don't do it for me.

 

I wonder if they would allow you to get the human and gargoyle head for one or the other. Since they allow you to get the gargoyle and human parts, it might be worth asking. *ponder*

 

I love this sculpt but, I cant see dropping that kind of money on such a small doll for the price. If it was Zenith size that would not be a problem. Oh well, My money is safe this time around. He is a wonderful sculpt feet, wings and all.
If they were going to do two dolls they should have offered two Different sizes.

 

I'm not really one for mature male dolls but... articulated bat wings! And toes that move! /giggle
If he was bigger, I wouldn't want him; but he'd be about the same size as my Junior Delf hybrid, that's not too big... Oh man... It's bad that I'm even considering it >_> ...

The short answer is no except supposedly for the shoes. Not only are the shorter, they're smaller in proportion. Most of the Vito line thread is about figuring out clothes for the li'l hotties.

I suppose the gargoyle version is a lot of $$ for the size, but it's a lot of prosthetics. I'm surpised there are two sculpts period. Guess TPTB couldn't make up their minds. I'm not into the anthros, so that's not tempting. The idea of Amon in human form is though. Oy. Poor Lester's always getting bumped down. The woe of being a basic sculpt.

 

I'm not sure what the word is for them but it's not Anthro since
his head is mostly in human form. But those Feeeeet!!

I would so bring him home if I could love his face, but that's not
happening :-\ I agree the faceup doesn't do much for him. And I
really wish those ears were removable/magnetic because I prefer
the more expressive gargoyle head...but not those ears.
Anyone else love the last picture of him? XD I prefer to think of
him as a dragon though. Maybe if I call him that I can get him

And yes, the size, I really don't worry too much about that. I just see him as a piece of artwork by his own, he doesn't have to fit in with the rest of the crew. That's why I even consider ordering him in gray resin

You're right, he'd probably go well with the Zaoll, however I've seen enough pictures of Vitos together with mature Minis and it's a good match as well. I mean hey, sometimes the guys just are one head taller than their girlfriends.

I would want him if he had human legs with those wings. That pretty much defeats the whole purpose. Also, I need to stay away from grey skin. SD Chiron (human ver) is on the way and I'm saving up for grey Shiva (4 arms).

 

True, but it conveyed my meaning. I'm not into the creatures so much, true anthros or mythical.

 

I don't do much in the way of flipping out over dolls esp not in this size... but... Amon is just amazing! Gonna keep my fingers crossed to see if I can get him. Also LOVE the long ordering period.

I'm glad you said that. I think I've decided to go for a white Kyle gargoyle with human head and extra parts instead of grey. lots of painting possibilities and a more unusual choice I think. a story of transformation. which way he transforms...I dunno yet.

Comparing their measurements the Vito boys are still somewhat slimmer than the Soul-Double, I'm afraid. Though I agree on this picture at least the shoulder part looks as if it was the same width.
