Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023.     1. I actually always pictured Centaurs to have more out-of-proportion, stylized bodies. *shrug* I don't know why, but I always imagined that since they were half-human that the bodies would be smaller and thinner, in proportion with the smaller man. Must be all the anime and video games. :sweat I really like him, body and all.

    3. Thank you Soul Doll. I have no interest in this version of a centaur. It doesn't look that great.
      They could have gotten my money real easy.

      I do want a grey guy. So I may get him (human version) later in 2009. If I want a 70cm.

    5. I actually like the human head more. The centaur face is too :evil: for me. The human face is absolutely gorgeous. I wonder if they would let us swap them. ;)

    6. I was totally unphased by all this (not a fan of centaurs), but I HAD to look. I love both heads and faceups, but I'm leaning towards the human body. Looks like he comes in grey skin too since the pictures are in grey skin. The head mold looks slightly different between them, the horse version more "angrier"?. I kind of like that. I wonder if that's a difference or just the faceup.

      This is really tough, the centaur's face speaks to me. I never have been a fan of angry or serious facemolds, but that is just one gorgeous face. Bah, wish I could stick it on the human body. The human face is gorgeous as well but he looks best in grey skin.

    7. The horse torso killed it for me, and the way the human torso goes into the horse parts.

      However, the human version looks like he could be a member of the Goblin King's court (Labyrinth)----have to think about this one.

    8. I love that human head, I´d love to get one in WS. He´s perfect for a character I have in mind. I´m not quite fond of the body, though.

    10. Centaurs, the ones I've read about are like Clydesdale horses, massive, larger than life, big barrel-chested steeds..or is that studs? LOL;)

    12. Mmm...*puts a pic of human Chiron on her desktop* Human Chiron is gonna haunt me for a while, lol. I think if he's not too much he's coming home and if I can pass up on Soom's next doll. I LOVE the wig he's wearing and the outfit. Maaan I hope they make a bunch of clothes for him, the flashier the better. x3

      I just get undone by these grey skin boys. And I have to go along with what a few others said. Goblin King for the win! XD

    13. I am totally in love with the human version. TOTALLY. COMPLETELY. Now we just wait for the price. Something tells me that no matter the price, I'll need to bring him home. I just need to decide on skin color- white or normal skin. Not a fan of grey, really, unless I get the Centaur version, but the human version calls to me more. ^__^

    15. I do like the human version. The centaur version bothers me - I don't think the human torso fits properly into the horse body. It's interesting that I've been seeing so many skinny/frail tall SD boys, and now here's the centaur version. I want more meat, that's probably why I fell for iplehouse's EID. Give me a hunk of a centaur and I'll drop dead.

      I think Souldoll did a fantastic job on the Centaur, given the logistics. I actually really like the 'emaciated' horse torso- it actually addresses the issue I have with the idea of Centaurs, mainly the idea of two sets of organs. I like the idea that maybe they sort of 'evolved' on their own, and don't need the extra set of lungs, liver, kidneys, stomach- maybe an extra heart to promote better blood circulation, but I have no problem with the horse torso being nothing but solid muscle. Maybe the stomach could benefit from being in their somewhere and being closer to the 'exits', if you will, but still- Freaking awesome. <3

      Off course, that probably isn't the sole reason, or even part of the reason Souldoll made him so skinny; but can you imagine how heavy he would be if he were big and bulky and barrel chested? :horror:

      Like I said, I think Souldoll did a fantastic job with their resources and all the restrictions and logistics of such a massive project. :aheartbea I seriously wish I had occasion for a Centaur in my story.

    17. Oh, jeez!! Nuuuuu...Frown lines!! Why did it HAVE to be frown lines?!?! :...( Gawd, now I seriously want the centaur head. There is definitely a difference between the two heads. The human head does not have that delicious brow crease.

      It's a shame that the legs of the centaur are sooo nice and muscley, but the torso is all stylized and thin in comparison. I like it, but I don't LOVE it now that I take a little time to look at it.

      If I did ever get the centaur, I would definitely get or make some sort of cover to put over that human/horse joint. It's not very nice looking at all.

      Alsooooo, anyone else notice what very very VERY large hands he has in proportion to the rest of him?

    18. I admit I was disappointed when I saw the Work In Progress photos they had up of the Centaur Version. The body is still really thin, but... My WORD. It works! :aheartbea

      And I have been completely undone by the Human Version...That body and those HANDS :aheartbea And dear word his face... *_**_*

      I also love-love-love the outfit... too bad it probably won't be for sale (and if it is, not within my budget ;; ). Perfect for a character.

      I haven't actually looked at the centaur version yet. XD Too distracted by the other page.

    20. Yep, I have to agree!!

      With the outfit, the centaur is just yummy beyond repair but... wow, take his clothes off the front and that insertion point IS just weird looking. Startling. The good thing is that I can't picture why I'd want to take his clothing off in centaur form. (Don't even go there...)

      But oh my yes, the human guy. See, what would do it for me would be the human head but with those EARS. I have such a thing for ears... Gosh wouldn't that be sumpin... :fangirl:
