Just ordered Shiva! I'm getting her with 4-arms and in the white skin option. She'll be my first doll in white, so thanks to everyone who posted info on Souldoll's white resin for helping me to get over my misgivings about it and make my mind up!
So, so glad to have had the chance to get my grail!!

 

@Zaliayn congrats! Now we can enjoy the hopefully-not-too-long wait together.

Yay! I hope it won't be a super long wait... but I won't be surprised if it takes 5-6 months before our girls do arrive.

Thank you! I think once I see the white skin in person, it'll be just perfect. And it will look amazing against just about any other colour too - I already have several ideas for how to style and paint her, the problem is choosing which one! Makes me wish I had several heads, then I wouldn't have to decide

Thanks! Yeah, how the white resin ages was definitely my biggest concern, but it seems as though there's nothing to worry about there!
Nikki looks beautiful, and I like how her wig is styled. You know, I've often found myself wishing I had an extra pair of hands, but I can see now that even four arms isn't always enough!

Oh my gosh, you guys. I'm having a last minute crisis! I'm ordering Shiva (+4 arms), but I can't decide whether or not I want grey or mint blue resin. Aaahhhhh! I waited far too long to decide, and now I can't! The mint blue is so appealing, but I've never taken the dive and gotten anything more 'unique' than grey before. I'm going to have to dive into blue-doll research tonight to see if I could handle it.

 

@CourtneyC - The blue is beautiful and exotic. I have a Riris Vito girl in grey and it's very elegant - just divine. She looks wonderful in any color clothing, too because it's a neutral shade of grey.

I tried to use the spoiler but failed. well, she's still a Souldoll, so not breaking a big rule.

 

@petiteballerine I know, both resin colors are so appealing which is why this is so hard. Your Riris is absolutely lovely (the colors on her are indeed very flattering). I have a Leira who is also a grey color (though it often appears ws in photos), so I sort of know what to expect with gray. The blue is just so exciting... I'm leaning towards the blue, I think. It's just so different from what I already own.

 

@CourtneyC lol, I'm in the same boat! Except trying to decide between the mint blue or the sandy brown! Or not ordering her at all.
I have a terrible track record with female dolls. I get them, do nothing with them, then they eventually move on.
But...but... I've wanted a sandy brown Shiva since they first brought her out in that color! But, but...! Mint blue!!!

 

@aernath Oh no!! Hahaha, we're both stuck! Sandy brown would also be beautiful, but then again I think that you can't go wrong with any of the colors offered. I'm mostly trying to imagine how well I could dress/wig her with the blue right now. That might be the biggest challenge with the blue color.
But I know what you mean, my record with SD male dolls is pretty much the same. Now I have tons of beautiful girls by accident. Either way though, I think that any of the resin choices would be beautiful. It's just making the initial decision that's so hard. I hope we'll both be happy with whatever our decisions are.


Sorry for the double post, but I took the plunge and ordered Shiva in mint blue (+extras). Had to get my order in before the winter event ended, the 10% off is fantastic.

@fishcake Thanks! I'm pretty excited as well, this wait is going to be especially hard hahaha. But it gives me plenty of time to brainstorm how I'm going to style her.

I didn't get her. Just couldn't make it work. So I will enjoy any and all photos of Shiva when they start coming home!
