@Suindo have you asked souldoll for blank pictures? I doubt they would have it if its not posted, but you never know, they have always responded fast and kindly

To be fair, most ball jointed dolls look like aliens without their faceup, those sculpted muscles and wrinkles only add to the creep factor but look amazing when there is blushing and faceup to make the head come to life

I tried using the official Korean word for souldoll and the Korean name of HaeBin from the Korean part of the website to find more images and check the tags but Im turning out with nothing but the same souldoll images and a kpop idol lol

Surprising to me because she is a pretty sculpt, but I do notice that smiling dolls are really rarely popular

@Ashemanu I think your insta and flickr pages are getting a lot more popular now with the discontinuation sale! Youve got such pretty souldolls and Ive come across your page so many times when looking for irl sculpt images

@PennyDes I hope its okay, but I have a question and wanted to get your input since Im worried some people might see it differently than I intend it to mean, especially with my english not 100%

Briseas really does look special and I really love how you softened her with the wig and the eye position, I wanted to note that earlier but I forgot lol

I appreciate you remembering my SID man and knowing that I was going to pair her up with him! Im honestly going to keep the armor on the zenith body since it doesnt seem to be interchangeable and have the "resting" head on it. There doesnt seem to be demand for that body, and selling seems to be a hassle so the body and the armor are just going to be a prop more than anything lol!

Ill be looking up your progress photos and researching on how to modify the neck, your SD on the SID female body is really perfect looking

That pale blue skin tone is so tempting but, umm I really need to stop with spending so much on dolls and try to regain a little of my social life, they took over I find myself going wow she would make a great doll, or maybe I should make something like that for my doll, or I NEED to find a sculpt similar to this actress. It is an addiction I was not expecting

 

@Suindo It´s a pity that Hae-Bin is one of the very few sculpts Souldoll shows without pictures of the blank head. But I can remember I liked her face alot without face up. It has a very asian feeling.

@GreenTeaSlug Thank you for your kind words! I am often close to deleting the pictures cause I don´t think many people are interested in them. After all, my dolls are not among the most popular molds But it´s good to know that they are of use to some at least

 

@GreenTeaSlug It's not the muscles or lack of faceup that gives me alien vibes, it's how HUGE Sevi's forehead is compared to the smallness of her face; it reminds me of little aliens
EDIT: WAIT I know! It reminds me of early CP Delfs with their huge heads! I think I might try to see if Sevi's head will fit on a kids nl body now~


But I did email Souldoll about her blank sculpt; just waiting for a reply.

@Ashemanu if you liked her face without the faceup then maybe it'll be a stunning sculpt for me

 

Congratulations on ordering Agnes! Yay! I am looking forward to seeing how her look comes together. Do you have specific plans for her look? Thank you for your kind words about Briseas I have a few more hair and eye color combinations I’m thinking of trying on her.
You’re right about the zenith body for sure... they can be very difficult to sell on .
The hobby really does have a way of taking over

So it looks like she's one of the few sculpts they forgot to take a pic of I guess I can just order her anyway and if Idon't bond withher head, I can trade it for another sculpt

 

I will join you all. I just ordered Federer Elf to reshell one of my elves. I am really looking forward to Aerin getting his new face. I have put Federer in and taken him out of my cart three times but decided today that I couldn't pass him up, he just is a better fit for my warrior elf.

 

Congratulations! I did the shopping basket dance with him myself when he was first released, but ended up not getting him. Kind of a good thing since now I am working on lay away for Tera Zenith Zig and Klaus! I was going to get them "some day", but the big closeout of sculpts kind of moved that day up for me! lol

 

if things don't sort out for me I may have to sell my Chiron centaur... if i did should I include the human head i got too? (hoping i don't have to but not likely able to keep)... but i got the head separately from the full set that DID come with the human parts... If SD would sell me the uppper torso parts (chest/arms/hands) I'd keep the human part at least ><

@Lady Tiku Hmmm, that’s a tough one. If it were me, I wouldn’t include the human head with the centaur. I hope whatever needs sorting will work out for you and you won’t have to sell... fingers crossed

 

I finally folded and put blue Agnes on layaway - I couldn't resist the idea of making a grown-up Lagoona Blue out of her
I was thinking about adding any other head, but since I didn't have any of the going away ladies on my wishlist (of course Freya - whose head I would grab in an instant to put on a different body - was not among them) I decided against it. Need to finally start getting bodies for heads already at home and actually work on my current doll projects.

Watch me regret that decision in a few months when I see everyone receiving their pretty, discontinued heads/dolls...

I ordered HaeBin, Betty, and Evelyn last Friday!

I keep wondering if I should've gotten Shiva as that was the head I originally wanted, but Evelyn's sultriness was calling out to me.. I'm just thinking that it'll be easier to find Shiva's head than Evelyn's in the future.

I'm happy for everyone who ordered the heads and full dolls they wanted!

 

I also ordered the blue Agnes with the light version full set. It’s the most I’ve ever spent on a doll and I am beyond excited to see her!

 

Any of you have the new Souldoll Zenith boy body? Would you say it comfortably fits the SD17 clothes out there?

I’ve done some measurement comparisons and at certain widths it’s bigger than other boys bodies it size so I’m worried that if I order one I will be out of clothing options.

 

SD17 clothes fit just fine.


This whole outfit was made for SD17. The sweater is intentionally baggy though.

 

My federer finally got his wig so he finally got some photos!

My boy is on the new body and his outfit is all TTYA clothes in SD-17 size. It fits great.

I'm so glad I asked about the centaur version head back when they did the last sale of the old version body. Having him here makes me so happy even if fighting his wigs is a nightmare. XD

 

Seeing this gorgeous face makes me that much more excited about getting my Federer-Elf home. I hope it doesn't take too long, but I'm ready for the wait.

 

My D. Agnes came in last week and I adore her. I painted her and her armor this past weekend, and I'm trying to not be too terribly impatient and give the paint on her armor a few days to fully cure before I put her together to minimize any color rubbing or chipping at the joints.

How long is the waiting time currently? I have a full doll in normal skin and no makeup or anything extra. 10 weeks get over two weeks ago, so I'm interested how long is their usual waiting time now?
