I don't think it is bad luck. I think her promo pictures were misleading. Her proportions are not what we are used to and that makes her hard to fit in with doll families. The default faceup seems quite a bit different from the promo pics also. I understand the disappointment so many feel when she arrives. Mine is still a floating head. I am spending way too much time and money hunting and trying to get the right body (not to mention a Jay face up, Well worth that $$$$). I still adore the sculpt and my girl will be worth it when complete but I can understand not everyone wants to reinvent her. Poor Agge!

 

Yep another body would fix the problem but pff, I would have to sell this body first, then order, wait, stress ... >_<

 

Yep .An, I have lost lots of sleep stressing over this lovely piece of resin. But that face makes me melt every time I look at her! She has so much soul. Not your average big eyed girl.
Check out the new Impdoll model body. Boobies may be too big for you but otherwise I think it may suit her and I love the tummy sculpt. I have one on the way. I will let you know how it fits and if color match is ok. A lot of people just want that Zenith body because you still can't buy it from Souldoll without a head. You should have no trouble selling the body. Well good luck what ever you decide to do~

For the remplacement body I already know what I want : the Spiritdoll Proud body, one of my favourite girl's body ever

OMG, I can't believe how gorgeous that body is. Spritdoll somehow got by me. I thought I had looked at EVERY WS body out there. I love that Proud body but for my taste it would still be too tall for Aggie"s small head. I think the Elegance body with those small up turned breasts might suit the character I am going for much better than the Impdoll body I ordered.
She is my Huge Gluino's unhappy captive, but very well treated, lover.The body is so important because her clothing will always be sparce. I am now going to bang my head against the wall some more. Maybe this is not the hobby for an indecisive Libra with an A+++++ personality!
PS putting spritdoll body on want list, already have two other bodies coming for this one head My Bad!

I am a little disappointed by the body which is supple (flexible) of the whole and not very articulated, he cannot take the wished positions. But when I saw him the first time to Souldoll I was attracted by the face, I wanted him identical to the photo Souldoll. Lips do not make please I too much but according to the position he. does not see itself! It's a pity for the body so stiff!! I disadvise him !

Thank you very much Garnet, but I think that I am going to change his body! I am well to reflect to give him a much more supple (flexible) body! It is a pity Shinydoll have no body in 63 otherwise I would have taken him for Agnetha! Shinydoll makes very flexible and very well articulated bodies !

 

I have just looked at the new body from Impldoll,Princess Lace, it is very attractive but know you if it is supple(flexible) ? I think that he would be good for Agnetha ? The price is correct ! I am going to put the body Souldoll in sale !

 

My agnetha is home now ! I've time today to make her a quick make-up. It's weird, because she's my first "ghost lady" !

dark_angel: She is stunning. I would never have imagined her in that makeup but it really works! I can't wait to see more photos at different angles.
moonbloode: I don't know about the flexibility of the Impdoll body. It hasn't come yet. It does not have a lower torso joint but for my needs I really don't want one. That is why I didn't get the AOD body Azraelita used on their beautiful girl. Looks like great fit but not so sexy nude. I will look at that shinydoll body for another girl. I love Hybrids!

 

Belatedly garnet7 and Azraelita ... thank you! moonbloode and dark_angel, your girls really are lovely. I am so fond of Souldoll's white resin.

The Zenith line is scaled differently, the heads are smaller, more pin-headed. It is a problem when you're trying to fit them in with dolls from other artisans. I don't actually think the promo pictures are misleading in and of themselves ... it's just that we can't see the sculpt's proportions alongside other dolls. I got my Agnetha to go alongside this fellow (Leeke Koji head on Distant Memory body ... height 65cm). He's wearing an 8/9 wig and she's wearing a 7/8.



If you saw product pix like this (except nicer), you'd have a much better idea what to expect.

I love them both, but he makes her look so fragile, and she makes him look blocky and big. His hand looks like a baseball mitt in comparison! She actually doesn't "fit" well with anyone I have here except my Chiron, and then she's a bit short for him.

I agree the default lips leave a lot to be desired. I wasn't pleased either. And the body ... well, parts of it I like a lot. The breasts are just so artificial-looking, though, and their size doesn't help the effect.

But she's staying.

Thats why I sold of my "stylized" big headed dolls, realistic dolls with small heads just weren't working with them :/.

My Agnetha will have to work with my Sabik, maybe I should take comparison pix of both too^^

One of the reasons that I really have been giving a hard eye to buying Agnetha is because I LOVE the look of the Souldoll Zenith general type body sooooo much. Did anyone get a general type body with their Agnetha? Would you mind sharing some opinions about it? I'd love to hear (or even see) examples of her posability!

 

Yes Anneke, I have the body Agnetha de Souldoll but I like him in no way ! It is stiff and difficult to handle ! One do not can make many movements with ! It is very difficult !

I got the fullset: wig & outfit with the double jointed body -- am so in love with the body -- looks and feels really nice in your hands when you're working with her

I'm not sure if it's because I got the fullset with WS -- but I feel my Agnetha represents the promo pics very well and I'm not the least bit disappointed

The head size is small (especially when compared to my Volks and Peakswoods) but it totally *fits* her and I don't think I'd want a larger head -- at least for this particular sculpt

She's just really amazing
