Thanks, everyone, for sharing my excitement! I ordered her with the white skin. But she won't be coming with a faceup. Sorry! But I'll take pictures of her blank head. I always like to see blank heads. Gives me a much clearer idea of what the sculpt is really like. But you can bet she won't be without a faceup for long! I'm excited to see the Zenith body, too. I've never seen a Souldoll Zenith girl in person. So I'll be sure to give you a full critique.

Looks like she's still in Korea. So I guess it takes them a while to get out of the country. But, hopefully, she'll be here by next week!!!! Yippee, skippy!

Looks like she's got a great sculpt, but her promo photos are all taken from pretty much the same angle... So I really want to see her home pictures too! A blank head will be just great.

 

I adore this doll and go back to look at the pictures often... although I'm pretty bummed that you don't get the rabbit plushie! She's got a lovely unusual face though and I still miss my Soul Kid Linn from when I got rid of all my MSDs. I'm dying to see some owner pics

 

She's here! Agnetha arrived last night. Unfortunately, no time for pictures but I'll try to snap some tonight.

Her sculpting is really refined and beautiful. The overall body is much nicer than the SD size girl body. The collar bones on Agnetha's body are smooth and not sharp like on the other girl body. Also, the bust on Agnetha's body is softer, not so shelf-like as the standard body. The white skin color is quite lovely. It's definitely white but not as stark as Planetdoll or Dollstown white. The resin is smooth and beautiful, really nice quality.

I haven't had time to pose her a lot yet, but she stands easily and generally her body isn't as "snappy" as the Hye size body. Perhaps she's just not strung as tightly.

Her face is more pouty looking in person. So she can be painted to look either very sad or just rather serious. Can't wait to get my little fingers and paints on her!

Now for the negative--she's got a really small head!! My first thought was--eek! A pin head! This head can easily work with the standard size Souldoll body (providing the neck fits which I have no way of knowing right off hand). So for those people seeking other bodies for Agnetha, you can definitely look at other size bodies although I know Volks wouldn't be a good match because of the resin color and I think would look to "wide" for Agnetha's head. I'm going to try her head on a Doll Family body I have, just to see the fit. I measured the length of her foot and it's actually longer than her head! I've never done that before, so maybe that's how most dolls are. But it seemed a little odd to me. When I put a wig on Agnetha her proportions looked much, much better.

The dark eyes she came with totally fill her small eyes so I'll be changing those for sure as it makes her look like she just has holes it her head with no eyeballs. Her eyes are quite small. I think I'll have to use 12mm. Not sure what size she came with but I'm not that thrilled with how it looks. But that's a matter of personal taste. I always like to see white showing and don't like the iris to fill the eye. And some people like it just the opposite.

These are just my first quick impressions. I didn't have much time to play with her at all last night. I hope to have more time tonight and time to take some pics and post here too.

Congrats Jay! I can't wait to see what magic you do with her. I really appreciate your comments. I was hoping that mouth could be painted very pouty. I have been holding off on her because of that. Now I am not sure I will like the smallish head, but do you think that it could seem smaller because the proportions are off on many of the other dolls and we are just used to big heads?

 

Lace Princess -- Soul Zenith girls generally have noticeably smaller heads than other girls of their size (~63 cm). I have a Shiva G and she has proportions akin to a fashion plate illustration -- 8 heads tall, nice long legs -- rather than those of a more average SD-sized doll. I'm sure the heads look smaller because we're used to bobble-headed SD-sized dolls, but Soul Zeniths also do have much smaller heads!

I'm excited to see pictures of her! Congrats on getting your doll in Jay, I've been admiring her for awhile now. I agree that Zenith's head do seem to be quite small.
