Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. Its not seams that bother me. My problem is they obviously sanded the torso, hands, feet, and arms (they didn't bother to wipe off any of the sanding dust that was a fine coat on her body)..but yet didn't touch her legs. The arms still have seams, but nothing like the legs! I own Brown Tan Beryl from Soom (who is notorious with their seams), I had Peakswoods Tan Shaia, Rosy Brown Withdoll Priscilla, and own tan Lahela ...they all have seams. I really don't mind. I EXPECTED Karin to have seams. What bugs me is that they obviously were able to sand other body parts and yet left the legs in that terrible condition. It is on both sides of the legs, and is actually "caved in"...as if the leg was somehow crushed...so there is a little "ledge" that sticks out.

      I'm not a newbie and know that all companies put out that warning about dark resin and seam lines. But when 3/4 of the body has little to no seams...its obvious they just didn't even bother with the legs. Which is careless when some one is paying so much for a doll.

    2. Britt, did you contact them about this? I'm curious what the reply would be. It does seem odd that they sanded everything but the legs :?

    3. I didn't tell them. I figure since they have the warning about seamlines they would just brush me off and say these are normal (when they aren't compared to the rest of the body).

      The good news is her leggings and boots cover them completely so she looks hot! And since I have no plans to sell her, as long as I am "happy", I figure thats all that matters. lol

    5. Britt7399: my Karin has also ugly seamlines on her legs. I also own lot of other colored dolls and I am used to seamlines, but Karin's legs have been the worst. But I can live with them :) (well, one seam is so sharp that I actually can cut myself if not careful -but I have cats, so I am used to having blood running from my fingers ;) ) And yes, the other parts of Karin look and feel nice without cutting lines.
      My Karin was also covered with dust, I had to clean her as soon as I opened the box. This was the first time I had to do this with any of my dolls that I've got. I got sandy brown Arina from Souldoll some months before Karin, and I can't remember anything like this when Arina arrived. And the seamlines on Arina are very tiny, hardly noticeable.
      Maybe they had badmonday when they finished our dolls Britt ;)

    6. hello i just like to join you on this thread as i got my new zenice girl and i will name her Ellianore or for shirt Elly ^^ she came to me yestorday , it was a nice treat for me sisns i was in the bad with the cold ^^
      I was very happy and so you now she fit in all my msd Dollmore wigs if it help and i also got her a wig from ebay size 8 not 7-8 or 8-9 but just 8 and it fit her werry well
      I LUV Elly she is a beauty !!! now she need one hunk of a man ;) to make a awesome couple ^^

    7. Hopefully I've actually found the site I wanted - Zenith sized Souldoll girls!

      I recently purchased Madalyn. I have an outfit for her but I'm unable to find shoes/boots that fit her (she has flat feet). Souldoll has none in stock (10/16/12) and says that no other company makes footwear that fits them. Has anyone found any footwear to fit them?

      Also, I noticed below that someone posted about Souldolls smaller heads. I have several Souldoll Double girls/boy and two Zeniths - I think their heads could be a bit larger - I don't think it takes away from them, I just think they could be bigger.

      Anyway, if someone has shoes in mind for them, please let me know.

    16. Those seamlines seem like they are really sharp and could cut a person's skin, Karin is lovely tho and her outfit is so wonderful. I still want to get the 4 arm Shiva, maybe one day she will be mine.

    17. I'm dying for a four armed Shiva. But in tan or grey skin (I prefer grey...but I will settle for tan)....I am so hoping that since they gave in a released Chiron in tan, they may consider Shiva too. I'm tempted to ask them again... lol

      I wonder when gray skin will be available again? I'm surprised they don't try to get more business by offering gray skin more often. The 4-armed Shiva would be especially tempting.

    19. I thought they said they stopped grey skin due to casting issues? I had assumed at the time that it was stopped as a seasonal thing, but it looks like it's not the case. According to the messages under Shiva, the grey skin is very hard and time consuming for them to cast, and they don't have the time. (probably why they always forced layaway for her, so that you had to wait the three or more months it took for her to be made)

    20. I asked Souldoll about releasing Shiva in an unique skin tone...again...I had given up hope, but I have hope again! They said they are considering grey skin again in the "near future". It was the most exciting email so far!!! I have hope! :)
