Souldoll Zenith Girls Discussion

A little warning Luchan about hybridizing Soom head to Zenith body:

A Finnish collector asked me to try this, she was thinking about this Supergem/Zenith hybrid, so I took few pictures. The new supergem head is smaller and does look nice on Zenith body, BUT the older supergem head is bigger and looks kind of ridiculous on Zenith body. (there are few other pictures on my flickr if You want to look)

 

Just when I said I would love Shiva in grey the release her........curses Soul Doll when I am broke

All the Karins and Shivas are gorgeous! Hmm...it's been a while since i posted a picture of my souldoll girl. Actually recently I have been considering whether I should change her face-up. What do you guys think?

 

Mimimontoya: the stand is from Soom.
Miyana: I love that face up, I love strong make up on dolls (I am unable to do them, my girls always end up looking very cute and girly )

I love her faceup too, it really suits her style, but of course if you'd like to change her up--go for it! You can always re-do it back to her former one if you don't like the change of course

 

They greys are different. I have a Spiritdoll grey Freesia head on my Souldoll grey shiva body, and the Freesia head was cast to match Soom grey (which it does, it's an almost identical match to my husband's Euclase). The Souldoll grey is a lot more blue in comparison. Here's a shot that shows the difference:

However, this is more obvious in photos than it is in person, so if not perfect resin matches don't bother you, and you don't mind photoshopping the differences when taking photos, then go for it.

No, it's a faceup by angeltoast, she did an amazing job. (It's the spiritdoll freesia head, not the shiva head btw)

 

I love AngelToast! I guess I was wayyyyy off! But the match is very nice!

 

I just received my Paratiisi a few days ago, and WOW she is awesome!! She is the first doll I've done the faceup on and restringing. She was super easy to take apart and reassemble. She is a VERY unique sculpt. I got the gift wig and outfit, and it's really beautiful. Her faceup is not perfect, but since it's my first one for an SD (I did one other one on a DD), I'm pretty happy with it. She needs eyelashes though . I will try to get some pics of her soon.


Anybody else get a Paratiisi??

 

I have a Paratiisi, too, and she's wonderful. Got her a bit over a month ago and forgot to pop in here altogether, though I'd been quietly following the thread while I waited for her. So glad to finally have a Zenith girl. I'd had my eyes on the body for a long time but none of the faces were right. Before Paratiisi that is. :3 Her look just gave me an idea for her character, style and story right away, so I had to have her.

Wow! Yours is beautiful! How did you get the horns to stay on?? I am having trouble with mine. Is that the default faceup or did you do the faceup? I love it!!

 

I LOVE your girl, her leather corset is stunning! Parastiisi is one of the most beautiful dolls Souldoll has ever released, I'm only bummed I don't have a character for her X_X I've been trying to pare down my collection and ONLY get dolls that I have characters for so missing out on her was super painful. Luckily I was able to get her dress I love how complimentary your girl's corsetted costume is with her horn blushing.

 

I just taped the magnets on top of her head and put the wig on top. And everything's done by me: her outfit, wig, face up and blushing.

Thank you. But, it's not like she's limited, so you could still get her. Her colour scheme is pretty light and wintery so I'm trying to keep everything she's wearing pretty down to earth.


The style with the horns and the cotton top is part of her summer outfit. Her winter look is a bit more regal and like this:


She's so spoiled. She already had two corsets and most of an outfit waiting for her before she arrived. xD I have so much clothing for her actually that I haven't had a chance to photograph her in the gift dress properly, and only put the horns on her for the first time yesterday.

Yenna: Thank you so much for how to get the horns on. I was trying to use eye putty inside the head, and it was not working. I'm going to try what you did. I love how you did your girl, she is stunning!
