Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023.       RoseOfDarkness      , I haven't found my girl to be too difficult to stand, although I think the ankles could use a little bit sueding of some sort for better stability. I have found with bjds that the thickness of the elastic string, the method they are strung, sueding, and how tight or loose can mean the difference between impossible to easy to pose.

    3. Thanks! I hope you post pictures when yours arrives! I have quite a bit of work to do on her before she's done! Not sure what I will do for her outfit yet, but I'm hoping I'll make her one, when I find the motivation that is! :b

    5. I looked at mine today and then compared it to your video. And I'm still going to say that it's the strings that are at fault. No matter how frustrating it is, I'd keep on testing different strings for her. Her knees do not buckle under her own weight when she's strung correctly. She has a lock in the knee and the joint shouldn't start turning over it.
      Mine is strung so tight that when you pull on the leg, it won't stretch very far or show much string, and it takes quite a bit of strength to pull the joint out of place. But as she is, she can just be plopped down and she'll stand (after adjusting the ankles). Even with very unstable heeled boots.

    8. Thanks all for the answears! Sorry for being so slow at the replys.
      But okay, then i shall test to restring her againg, and whit a bit of luck harder and better!
      My boyfriend did comment on the dubble jointed lock system, he wondered if the can have been puted upsidedown? I don't know if its possible but I gonna test it out, if it helps.
      In other cases souldoll have promised to take the body back and fix it up for me :D

    9. RoseOfDarkness, I don't know if this is of any help, but I took a quick video of how the knees work when the doll is properly strung. It's here. It turned into an explanation on how to make the doll stand the easiest, too, but you should at least see how they should behave. As you can see she's not wobbly and not even trying to bend the knees all over the place like yours. I find the ankles a bit more problematic, as the joints isn't very big but she has boots on right now, which give them a little more support.

      The joints on yours could be upside down, but they could be like that on mine too. From what I could tell they were pretty identical on both ends and might've gotten turned around when I re-strung her, too. It didn't seem to make a difference. :P

      And i did find the problem, I haven't had any time to test so "big" poses as you do in the video yet. But I will really soon!
      Anyway! The problem was that I hade accidently turned one of the kneejoints upside down (lol), beacuse they are so similar, but they make a big difference in wich way they have been strung!
      So to derilan85 , don't be afraid of the dubblejointed body! Beacuse when you have the kneejoints strung the right way she are really steady!

      But now I gonna run off and play with some posetesting! yay <3
