OMG!! Gwen is STUNNING!!! I love love her makeup by Soul Doll! Such kissable lips too, I know I should have gotten her......hoping she will still be around next year.

Curious does anyone have a Shiva in here? Even one with 4 arms? I discovered it today and wondered what people have done with her. She is a wonderful sculpt for sure.

 

I was wondering if anyone had both the Zenith and Double girls? And if they could do a size comparison of how they look next to each other? As well as if anyone has a Luts delf that could be compared against the two big Souldoll girls. I'm in love with the Zenith Abigail, and the Double Rye, but I would need to know how drastic their size difference is, as well as how they compare with the Delf girls. Thanks in advance.

 

I can take a photo for you of my Zenith with a Delf girl, but I don't have a double girl (they're quite teeny). Right now I only have a group photo where they stand close to eachother but I can't remember what shoes they were wearing (Zenith Paratiisi in the grey dress and Delf Lishe in the white flowery headband).

Anyone see the new Zenith girls? I'm so in love with Sabrina, although her nose is a bit too wide for me. But her expression is so lovely. I love Souldoll for not making the same general slightly-smiley girls every other company is making. Not all girls are happy. :/

That would be so helpful, Yenna! I'm interested in possibly putting Abigail or Paratiisi on a Delf body, so seeing their heads next to each other and such would be wonderful. Also, if you could tell me how the poseability of the two sculpts compare, that'd be lovely. I might just end up getting a Zenith.

I absolutely love Sigrun, everything about her is absolute perfection.

Well, I took some (really crappily lit) photos and swapped the heads for you, too.


Yeah, Sigrun wasn't wearing shoes in the group photo, clearly. Now she's wearing shoes that are about 0,5cm taller than Hati's heels. So this is close to how they'd both look shoeless.

The necks work perfectly but their styles are a lot different, obviously. Also Paratiisi wears 7-8" wigs while Delfs take 8-9". Well, I did just pull a 7-8" Leeke wig on my Lishe the other day but it likes to jump right off her, while it's the perfect size for Sigrun. :P

As for posing, I think Delfs are more stable and with some small mods really hard to beat in posing. The Zeniths are okay. The double version's knees aren't that stable and both versions have 'weak' ankles. But they're okay in my opinion. I'd like it if the Zeniths were able to lift their legs higher than just a 90 degree angle and if their torso joint was just a little lower, then I'd find them to be perfect.

 

Oh wow. That's a big size difference, I didn't think it would be so different for some reason. But I love how tall Paratiisi is compared to Lishe.

It's cool the heads fit on the necks perfectly, it's just awkward to look at because the bodies are so different. Delf is like a solid rock compared to the Zenith.

Definitely just going to save up for a big ol' Zenith now. Abigail is such a dream.

I've got a WS Shiva with four arms, but I've been away from the hobby for almost a year. Is there anything in particular you'd like to see? I haven't posted that many pictures of her, as she's more of a challenge to pose.

Ee, I love snow pictures. Sadly the snow near me gets muddy really fast, and I've been at work when it was actually still pretty out.

Does anyone have the forums spin around like crazy? Is that just normal on this body, or is there a fix I'm missing?

Wanted to get a reference shot here before I try to fight with her to make pants. I know it was mentioned once that Senior Delf Boy shoes fit the flat feet, and I wanted to share the look of them vs her height. The shown pair really has that look that Converse Chucks has where the tightness of the ankle area and flat length of the foot area really emphasis the length. Personally I really like how they make her look more lanky (with help from the leggings and the short skirt). I also bought a pair of the SBS-111 that have more of the loose pirate boot look and don't emphasis the foot length so strongly as they have the overly large ankle/leg area but the foot still fits super nice. I can take a shot of those if anyone wants. I'm liking how the Senior Delf Boy shoes account for the heel space better than my guess doll boots, so I don't think I'll be needing to mod her heel like I was thinking I would.

Mngh, I can't stay away: I finally got myself a Shiva. \o/ She's been on my wishlist since Souldoll first released her but it was never the right time... before now. And she's perfection. I should re-do her face up at some point, though. I just really wanted her finished soon and it ended up a bit bland, but I do love her anyway~ x3

I love her blue manicure! You're making me want to pull mine out of the display and make stuff for her again. Are you having any anger issues over her knees yet? Mine refuse to do as I say.

 

Thanks. x3 Her knees are fine, although I do need to order new strings and change hers because these are horrible and she's a little loose. I have much more problems with the Zenith ankles, really. My Paratiisi is fine since she has boots that support them but my Shiva doesn't have anything as I haven't been able to find her ones that suit her. :/ Souldoll released new boots like they said they would, but I had hoped they'd offer more variety. I was tempted by taking sandpaper to the ankles and re-shaping them a bit to improve stability, but I left that for later.

i also have trouble with double jointed Zenith's knees. I must try to do something with them, since at the moment the girl is just sitting in closet because those knees drive me mad. I also have single jointed zenith girl and she is so easy to pose

 

Your Shiva looks beautiful, Yenna! I love how well the blue looks on her skintone, and how on earth were you able to put 3 arms on each side? Did you need to mod her torso or arms?

I wonder if Souldoll put in a bit of blue in the Shiva's skintone? Because when I see other dolls gray skin, the Shiva looks bluer.
Gah I still don't know what to do with my Shiva yet...I just moved and I still need to get my sewing machine set up and see what I can do, when I have the motivation.
I also wish Souldoll had more variety of heels/shoes/boots for their Zeniths. I'm tempted to make some out of air drying or baking clays.
