Souldoll Zenith Girls Discussion

Yeah, I found with Sigrun that the tension needs to be just right to make them work well. It was not fun experimenting with them. I now have some thick string on order so that I can get my Shiva behaving better too. xD

Thank you. ^^ I drilled and carved two extra holes onto her back/shoulderblade area for the third pair. I'd actually still need to deepen the sockets but I'd rather not do that before it's summer and I can do it outside. Less cleaning up.

I've noticed that the grey Souldolls sent after Shiva was re-released recently (or after the blue-grey toned Chiron special release) have been very blue in tone. Mine is older (second hand) so she's not as blue and she's actually a perfect match with Withdoll's grey skin. :3

 

I think I may be planning a souldoll for my first girl- I'm torn between Aveline and Paratiisi. Does anyone have an Aveline home yet? I'd really like to see her a bit more before I decide.

Also, it recommends 16mm eyes for her, and I'd like to see smaller eyes in the Zenith girls.

 

Wilson, Oh, they'e both lovely. I've never seen an Aveline in owner photos, though. :< Souldoll recommends 16mm for all the Zenith females, but their eyes run a little small so they're fine with those, some other brands would certainly fill the whole eye with the iris alone. I have 14mm eyes in both my girls and I'm pretty confident they (or Paratiisi at least) could take 12mm too, but I've never tried it because I like bigger eyes.

 

Thanks Yenna, that's good to know ^.^ I've been holding onto a pair of eyes for this character for ages (received free at some point or another from a Dollmore order I think). I think they're 12mm which may be too small, but I tend to like smaller eyes so I suppose we'll see what happens when I save up the money.

 

Depending on the sculpt you end up with 12mm might gap, but it might also work just fine. xD

I discovered something interesting, I think Souldoll is planning to release Karin in sandy brown skin. If you put "Karin" in their search box, the sandy brown option comes up.

 

Hi everyone! I just thought I'd share a picture of my newest (she' been here since october, I've just been a bit out of it lately) girl. :3
This is Ivy Lore, she is a Madalyn on the 4-armed body. Souldoll were totally amazig and let me place a hybrid order.

 

I got some new eyes and tested them on my Shiva (whose eyes are bigger than Paratiisi's at least). Here's a photo of 12mm vs. 14mm Soom eyes. The 12mm gaps a tiny bit, but not so badly that I couldn't use them.

She looks great. And that was really nice of Souldoll. At one point I actually planned on requesting another head from them with the Shiva body (because they posted an outfit that was modeled by a grey Chantal with the 4-arm body), but I ended up getting mine second hand. But she looks lovely, although maybe a little cold with all the snow. x3

Thank you so much for showing the comparison! Even though they gap a little, I think I like the size of the 12s better. I think I may request 14s when I order mine and see if they will be nice enough to send me one of the colors that's appropriate for the character, since they say you can leave a comment with what eyes you'd prefer. That way I'll have some options.

 

I wish there was more activity in this thread. Zeniths are so lovely. C: I took a few shots of my Yami for the first time outside, since I finally got a stand for her. Sigrun I can trust to stand on her own most of the time if it's not too windy, but Yami... I'm afraid shell fall over at the slightest breeze since she's so top heavy and I don't even have any shoes for her to stabilize the ankles.

 

Your girls are lovely Yenna, I'll try to take some pictures of my Leira this weekend for the thread. She got a new Soom dress in and I haven't taken a picture of her yet.

eee all the Shivas in here! I want to get a four armed Chantal but my funds right now tell me no you cannot afford her just yet XD

 

Has anyone ever put a Ringdoll head on the Zenith Double girl body? The one with the nice organic round joints that look like one of those old art dolls? This body's neck is the closes to the neck girth of the Ringdoll teenage neck girth. I don't like the look of the Ringdoll body and am looking for an alternative. If someone has done this then please let me know if it worked and how's the resin match (either color).

 

awww this thread is so quiet! i plan on getting the Zenith General body for my supia head, and im alittle confused on the hands? in the photos its the clenched hands but i saw a box opening and it was open hands?.... what hands come with the Zenith General body? xD also it doesnt come with high heel feet correct?

Sorry this thread is too quiet! The Souldoll Zenith body is a beautiful, isn't it? The Zenith will normally come with open hands, and the high heel feet you will need to order separately.

I'm planning to get Supia Lina for this hybrid. I've been having Lina in my wish list for quite long time now.. but their body made me delays for so long.. then suddenly I saw that there's a good match between Zenith and Supia.. and I love Zenith body. It gives me the right feeling to go for it

 

Hello, everyone! Please pardon me for butting into your lovely thread. I was wondering if anyone has the new Zenith body yet, and if so, how they like it!

See, Uha is stunning, and I'm considering getting her. I'm just not sure what body to go with. The new one looks gorgeous, and could use clothes I already have for my Feeple-bodied girl...but hmm! No posing or owner pics that I could find!

In the meantime, don't mind me, I'll be going back through the pages of this thread and drooling over all your lovely ladies.
