Finaly mine... My first Zenith girl !! And I love this body !!

Hey all, has anyone tried Ninestyle SD16 clothes on their zenith girls? I'm mostly wondering if the bust will fit in their cute blouses >w<

 

Actually Hannah was a real full set, there was no option if you want face up or not. I have her and actually she arrived fairly quickly from the payment - I think it was less than 3 months.

Iple shoes don't fit the Zenith girls. Dollmore flats fit perfectly but not their heels and a lot of SD13 guy shoes will work. A lot of Iple SID and nYID girl stuff will also fit the Zenith girl.

I see Souldoll has a new Zenith girl up and she's very lovely.

 

Besides introducing a few new girls, Souldoll has also made some changes to the Zenith female body. They've modified the inner structure of the chest joint, so that it moves in a smoother way



I've always loved this Zenith body and to me it's perfect even without this change, but I think it's admirable how they're striving for even better results to make their loyal customers happy! It's a good thing that they're not going to change the whole thing though, there are many people who love this body a lot.

Has anyone received vampire or human Isabel yet? At least the MSD and Tera Zenith orders have been delayed a bit due to high amount of orders, so I'm not sure if it's been long enough since her release that someone would've gotten her home... I'm really hoping to see some owner pictures to help me decide if she'd be the best sculpt for a character of mine ;3;

 

@safir Wow are they really doing that to the new body? That is great news! I pray to God the Zenith I ordered in December has this new update version of the double-jointed body. Thanks a lot for sharing! Where did you find this picture, by the way?
I think I will go ahead and ask Souldoll in their Q&A if I'm lucky enough to get this body.

 

The picture was on the sales page of those two new Zenith girls, almost at the bottom of the page I noticed it by accident when I looked through the other photos. I don't know if the change will only affect the dolls ordered from now on, or if also applies to older orders that haven't been shipped yet. You should ask them on Q&A to make sure~ Please do let us know what they reply to you, if you decide to ask them. That information might also be useful to other people who have ordered a Zenith girl recently

I just finished asking about my order. Of course, I will post their reply on the forum as fast as possible. Souldoll usually takes under a day to reply to their Q&A, although the Chinese holiday is just about to begin in East Asia... I don't know if this will affect anything.

This is really good news for me since I was already planning on trying to exchange the new body for the old one on the marketplace. The thing that annoyed me the most was the chest piece. I also think the breast are too big for my character. Anyhow, all that is left is to wait for their answer! ^^

 

I came here to comment on the new upper joint and everyone's one step ahead of me.
I'm so relieved. my girl isn't going on layaway for a few months, so it's good to know that the harsh joint is now so much improved.
since the body is so new, those who have bought it should get a trade-in.

 

I ordered my Isabel fairly early and no movement on her yet. Please let us all know if we'll be getting the new chest piece with the Christmas orders.

The two new girls are very lovely and I'm glad they're basics.

 

@Patrice S I also ordered my girl at the beginning of the event, near mid-December, and Souldoll told me they were still working on my order. I was asking them if my doll was ready in the hopes of finishing off my layaway early for an upcoming event.

Did you order Isabel in human of Vampire form? I'm so excited to see her ^^ & yes, hopefully we will get an answer at the end of the weekend. I really have my fingers crossed for this one!

 

Dayme, I ordered the human version. I was they had sold her with the vamp head as an extra option as it's a wonderful head.

 

So, still no news from Souldoll about the chest piece for December orders. They definitely took some time off for the Lunar Year; the Q&A page is filling up with unanswered questions.

In the meantime, I was wondering what eye size most of you Zenith owners were using for your girls? Souldoll marks them as 14mm on their website, but somehow I feel like 12mm might be better for such small heads. I'm certain this question has been answered a millions times on the thread but I can't seem to find it.

I was hoping to order a Oscardoll pair of glass eyes that are 14mm. Has anyone tried this combination in a Zenith head?

 

Really interested to see what they reply back to you with Dayme as I ordered my Stella in December too. Had this previous design of the chest been a problem with limited movements? I'm wondering whether to message them and request the new part. I ordered her on 3rd Dec, I seem to have disappeared off the waiting room list though so will add myself back on!

Don't know if its just me going crazy but I noticed on the new girls it says their 'normal' making period times on the listings for the new girls as 10 weeks then the + weeks for default/special make ups, I'm sure this used to be 8wks + I guess business must be booming for them which is great.

 

I've got 12mm Eyecos in one of my Uha's and I should probably change them out to 10mm. They actually look bigger than the 14mm default Souldoll eyes in my other Uha.

 

It depends a lot on the head. I usually like the suggestion companies have for their dolls, but in Souldoll's case their own eyes are smaller than normal, so if they suggest 14mm, I tend to go with 12mm. If they suggest 16mm I go with 14mm and so on. I have 3 Zenith girls and they're wearing one size down from the suggested size.

There's no difference in movement. The previous version was just ugly as sin, as well as impractical and kept shedding resin dust everywhere if it was moved. It was also stiff and kept snapping back to the default position really harshly. Basically it was unusable -which is okay if you're not planning on moving it at all. I'm glad they fixed it at least a little bit. I had to get rid of mine because I just couldn't live with it -it totally ruined one of the silk tops I used with my Uha, too, by having it get caught inbetween the joint and stretching it (not to mention shedding resin dust all over it, I basically had to vacuum it clean).

 

@Dolleve I hadn't noticed the 8weeks notice, but I honestly doubt Souldoll will be able to ship our Zeniths even within 12 weeks, they seem overflooded with orders. I'm hoping I can add a few eyes to my order without having it delayed, so in some way it's a good thing ^^

@Patrice S Thank tou for the photo! I'm guessing the Eyeco eyes are on the righthand Uha, and the Souldoll eyes are on the lefthand one? They really do look practically the same size. Thanks for the info!

And @Yenna, I will definitely downsize to 12mm. Thanks for the heads up! And I remember your amazing comparison review of the Zenith bodies, I think @Dolleve should check it out!

I don't know what to say or think, I'm just really sad. Just to put it out there, I ordered my Zenith on December 22nd, so anyone having ordered around there might have this same answer. Should we bug them about it?
