Spiritdoll Herculean Line Discussion

Hi there everyone, is there a Spiritdoll customer service/feedback thread? I've looked and searched and didn't see one (but that doesn't mean much, I seem to miss a lot on larger forums.)

I am seriously considering the Cedar (in lieu of getting an IOS 80cm). So far what I've read seem to be positive reviews.

 

I'm not sure about that, but as for my personal experience I have no complaints whatsoever. Sure, they sometimes answer a little slowly in their Q&A but nothing drastic, but they understand English quite well and were very nice to me. And I definitely recommend Cedar, I love mine. xD

 

There's a waiting room that's pretty helpful. Deliveries don't drop off the list so you can get a good sense of time. And folks tend to chat about email/order response too. Looks like deliveries are running about 6-8 weeks, which is pretty good.

Finally I started to consider getting my first herculean~ I'm quite sure i will order Thuja and test my iplehouse Arvid head too, I've seen few white skin hybrids and they look nice. But i need that Thuja too so I will order the whole guy anyway. Do you have any Thuja owner's pics? I haven't found any yet My collection needs herculean, I have already EID, Idealian and IOS80line dolls xD team giant.

I've been eying not Herculean but Alice. And I've just now learned that both Alice and Herculean are the same size?! What a huge difference in age groups between the two.

I've settled on the Cedar. He looks like he'll be perfect for what I want. Planning on the tan skin. Time to start ebaying stuff! LOL

 

Because there's so few pictures of these gorgeous guys, I'm dropping by to share a pic of my Cedar. I know the angle isn't awfully flattering, the wig is wrong and eyes too big, they make him look like a bug... But I finally got him back from the faceup artist and I love his faceup so much.

 

Well, it's the cutest little bug I've ever seen. *squee*

I would love to see more of Ceder, as he is one of my grail dolls for my Russian Tiger character. >W< The one you have is so lovely. I would really love to see more of his face and body~

AjiAji, as soon as I get him a wig I'll take more pics, a friend of mine accidentally took this one with her after a meetup. He is... Well, not as heavy as I sometimes think he is but he is definitely heavier than my other dolls. Not a doll you want to carry around a long time. He poses much better than I expected, being as hunky as he is, he has nice stoppers in armpits and he's just... Very nice all around. If I'm home early enough tomorrow I'll take some posing pics of him, been planning to do that for a while now.

 

Thank you so much. I just over all love his face and body, because they are too perfect for the character design I have.. But I always love seeing owner pictures of them so I am absolutely sure that it truly is perfect. Not many people seem to have Ceder yet, which is understandable with that gorgeous hunks price tag... So I am so happy that you do.

 

AjiAji, tell me what you would like to see, I was thinking of taking photos of my cedar today and I'll post them... . Yes he is def heavy but amazing at posing! I can also try a couple of wigs for you so let me know...

 

I took some random posing shots of the body, I'll post them in a thread soon enough but here's some for reference anyway. My guy is strung ridiculously tight which means his upper torso won't stay bent back and I can't have his feet touch the ground properly when he's sitting with the thigh mobility joints pulled out, legs up, but they are both possible with a little more loosely strung doll. Also, his head is currently staying on with blu-tack which is why it looks so strange (I can't pull the strings to his head, he's that tight, and I mean like feet on his shoulders pulling with all my strength and still not coming up enough tight). I'll take more pics of more useful poses soon, feel free to ask if you are curious about something.

 

Thank you so much! Ibilintu basically covered his posing on his body for me, so if you would not mind angles of his face~? Also, if it is not too much to ask, I would love to see different wigs on him indeed! He will be having a blond wig with me, that is going to be about mid-length in back. (though it would be pulled forward in the front with two pony-tail's that have two bands in each. Dunno if that made any sense, but the only reference I have of his design I cannot/have not scanned in yet. Xp If you are familiar with Gaiaonline, It kinda looks like the Fay Cervidae (hair).
