Spiritdoll Herculean Line Discussion

Oh congrats miss mabel! Hope you will share your pretty boy with us^^ I'm also thinking about getting Cedars head on the proud body. The Herculean is a really beautiful one, but sadly too massive q.q

I want them both, Im fan of Spiritdoll sculpts and this two seem to have got me!

I also adore the outfits and want them for my dolls, maybe its the reason to order the heads with this hunky body !?

 

I'm still not convinced that the Herculean heads are going to work on the Proud body. The neck hole in the Herculean heads is made for a 13cm neck. The Proud neck is 10.5cm. Seems like a lot of difference to work with, apart from the fact Cedar in particular has a very broad jaw which needs the thick neck to balance it out... I'm fascinated to see how it goes for those who are going to try, I just wouldn't try it personally.

 

I am not worried about it really--there is one 1 cm difference between the head sizes and personaly I think the Cedar head looks alittle pin-headed on that herculean body. As far as the neck difference--that is what epoxy-sculpt is for right?! I just wish it would ship already because I want it.....

 

I also want your tan boy to ship... I wants to seeeee hims. O.O I do hope the hybriding works out. Epoxy frightens me, I'm a big girls blouse when it comes to actually modding things.

 

I can hardly wait to see actual photos of Cedar with the herculean body. Owners pictures, not the advertising ones. I want to see comparisons of the Herculean next to some other types of large male bodies as well, and how the dolls really pose, stand, etc. Congrats to all of you who have already ordered him!

 

I'm definitely thinking of ordering a Cedar on a Herculean body! It's exactly what I need for my Russian *cough* Adult Video Actor *cough* Yevgeniy! I have a few layaways to pay off at the moment, but once they're done -- THIS GUY IS MIIINE. *______* I thought I'd have to get another Iplehouse EID for him but none of the faces were right... I'm SO glad I found these guys! ACK! I'm in love.

 

You guys, I kinda ordered Cedar the first week of January and they haven't answered the guestbook since Dec 27th. I knew their communication was bad, but actually this bad? Do they check their messages once a month or something? Sorry, I'm just a Spiritdoll newbie. I changed my mind right after I placed the order and wanted just the body instead of the whole doll so I'm worried if they saw my message or what. Tried emailing them and haven't got an answer either.

 

Carmen: Their communication (if we can call it that) was what made me hesitant about the Herculean guys. Last year I ordered an Elegance and Proud body from them and the communication was just -so- bad that I was hoping they wouldn't come out with anything else that I wanted. In the end, even threatening emails from me went un-answered by Spirit and my bodies just turned up one day with no tracking number or any notice that they'd been sent in the first place. At that time the Guestbook was backed up with people having similar problems and there had been no movement there from Spirit in two months.
And yet, some people seem to catch them on a "good day" and have no problems with communication. If you were just waiting, I would tell you not to worry in the sense that I don't think there's been any instances of people not receiving their orders, but because you changed your order I would say just persist. The first time I got a response from them was when I sent a reasonably stern email after several polite emails had failed.
Don't panic, just get a bit tough with them.

 

I ordered Cedars head mid-december. Heard back from them end of december confirming my order. Asked on another board about shipping times etc and was told that "stuff just shows up". Sadly I adore my other Spiritdoll boys that I HAD to order Cedar. I too would keep on "pestering" them.

this is really sad to hear about their communication issues... i ordered from them almost two years ago, (right around the dark and moonless time) and their communication wasn't that brilliant...
alot of people at this time were also having problems with spiritdoll, but its a real shame to hear they havnt fixed those communication issues. as i really did think they were terribly sweet, i must've been a lucky one, any message i left got a reply.
(they even replaced my bag that broke, even thought it was a gift)
but i'm thinking of ordering a Herculean body off them.... as i've delt with them before i'm not overly hesitant... but its still making me a little hesitant...

 

shelbelly: Yeah, it's more just really, really annoying than anything else. I don't feel -unsafe- ordering from them per se, I just think if I'm going to hand them large amounts of my hard earned cash it would be cool of them to answer my emails.
I'm resigned to the idea that if I want Cedar bad enough I'll just have to send money and trust that he'll show up. >.>

 

yeah its a shame that their not answering :/ i actually cant remember if it took them a week or so to inform me they got my payment... or if they ever did at all. but its so long ago now XDD

 

This is pretty much exactly how I feel. >3< I know they have communication issues, but they still seem to show up. If they show up no worries, then I'm in. I'm completely nuts over Cedar so I'm just going to peg money at them for him and be surprised when he arrives at my door, I guess OwO;

 

They really could hire someone to answer all the emails, I mean there pretty popular and sell a lot of stuff.

Their communication issues make me feel uncomfortable about ordering too, now where Im almost convinced I want Thuja on his herculean body :/

Earlier there was a forum where one could make a post about their order and they answered... well once in 2 weeks or so, but now the forum is gone it seems?

 

I think they're slow or not answering emails because of the Chinese Lunar New Year, which I believe started on the 15th of Jan. I too have ordered from them and am waiting for a payment confirmation. I'd wait until their New Years is over and see if there's any response. Usually many people in China are on a break during this time of year. bunny27: Unfortunately, while that might be the case right now, the communication problems go way back. They might just happen to have an -excuse- right at this minute.
I must reiterate though, I don't think anyone -hasn't- received their orders in the end... it's just turned into a bit of a blind faith type arrangement.

 

My friend just got Herculean body (tan skin) few days ago.
And I must say it's so heavy and LARGE... , greater than Iplehouse EID ...
Now we're confused where should we get clothes for him ... OTL

 

Raykit do you know how long the order time was? Yeah, I am anxious to get my Cedar head What head did your friend get? Pictures/gallery link?
