It took about one month. Though I asked my friend (who was in China) to order from their Taobao page (they response faster and ship faster than their English website). She just brought body back from China just few days ago.

My friend (who is owner, different person with above one) bought only body part for her doll head future plan
We haven't taken photos yet. However the body is now with me. I will try to take some photos on this holiday.

 

Thanks for the info, Raykit. If I knew before, I would have ordered from Taobao through an agent, even though it could cost more... I just can't stand them not answering anything since over a month ago.

Fortunately, after we calculated all price including commission price, everything was still cost cheaper than English website ^^' It was because an agent (my friend) promised to bring body back to us. So we saved shipping and customs fee cost :3

I once ordered a body from their English site. Never got response.
They updated order status to be confirmed payment after a month passed after I paid, shipped in a next month after that, no email tracking sent to me, nor the order status updated.
However everything was fine. But try to not have any changes in order to avoid communication with them ... (they should get new customer service though, I guess).

 

Regarding Spirit Doll Communications issues:

While I'm not a Spirit Doll rep, I generally have an easy time communicating with them and a pretty good track record of getting responses. If people wanted, I could try to help out on your behalf with getting questions answered/finding out about orders?

For those of you who've PMed me, give it about... 48-72 hours tops since my response to you, and I generally can expect that I'll have updates for you.
I don't know -why- it is, per se, that they respond to me, but they generally do.

EDIT: I also emailed them from a second address, as occasionally their spamfilter catches my other one.

I think unless you are able to use Chinese and contact them through Taobao (QQ), they always reply slowly.... (or never reply tho :< )

All order inquiries should now be updated on the Spirit site or via email. Ying sends her apologies for the delay, they are due to a combination of moving house and issues with her ISP not transferring service properly, and her not having the option to cancel and go with a different service.
In any case, please let me know if there are any more issues and I will follow up again.

 

Great. Has she been moving for at least a year or more? The communication problems go way back and to be honest I don't really feel comforted.
I appreciate that you're tying to help but the fact that you apparently get communication out of them doesn't really fix the problem. The problem is apparently systemic. I will believe things are getting better when -general- communication improves.
Also, if she was having so many problems, a notice should have gone up on the website about the delays. Pardon me, but I don't feel it's satisfactory to have to pony my messages to them on a person I don't know (no offence intended) just to get a response.

Well my Cedar head just appeared last thursday with no shipping notice...quite a pleasant surprise.

This is a v1 SD proud body (and if the man bits offends please LMK so I can replace the pic). I think proportion it is a good fit. The resins are slightly different but there is probably a few years difference between so the one could of mellowed a bit.
As you can see the neck hole is quit a bit bigger (the Hurclean neck must be massive!). I have plans to carve down the back and maybe add some epoxy to the chin area but he will have long hair so it does not show. The Cedar head is narrower than my Abies v1 head and the eyes quit a bit smaller but they can wear the same wig.

Quick face up on this guy--he has very chiseled features and after all the waiting I am not sure that I like him or not. But that is my personal preference not anything to do with the head or the quality. If anyone wants other pics LMK, I have a newer proud body in NS too.

Do you have the 2nd Proud male body too? I would like to see how he looks on this one, as I'm planning to get a Thuja. I like the Herculian body, but Thuja should fit in my other boys and 75cm is very big compared to 70cm.

 

I do but it is NS so the tan head and the NS will look odd. Give me a day or so to take pics and post. I am assuming that you want semi nude?

Tan is v1 body with Abies head v1 the NS is v2 body with Cedar head. As you can see the back of the neck hole is different on the Cedar head and could easily be removed, I think that is might also add to the mobility if that was done. HTH

 

Thank you very much. There is quite a difference between the 1st and 2nd body, the 2nd body is much broader. The Cedar head look nicely on the 2nd body- so well I guess I will order my Thuja with a 2nd male Proud body.
