I really like Iris, she has such a cute face!!!

 

I really just want to finally have an anime-styled BOY. Is anyone else trying to put their heads on boy bodies?

I think since they are resin, it would be easier to mod them to make them more masculine, etc. But resin and proportional bodies... Now THAT's the tough one!

 

I agree; I'd like to have a Junjou Romantica character like Misaki or Shinobu (which any of the existing heads would work) but an adolescent male body would be perfect! I think Obitsu makes some boy bodies but I don't know much about them (as far as size or fit etc.) I think it would be grand if Volks or SQ had designed a male body or dolls- I'd also like a Haruhiko Usami doll (they'll need to make a head mold with a wider chin). O the possibilities!

 

This is what bothers me so much! There is such a high demand, but no one seems to want to make a male body. I know the majority of the DD collectors are male... But it doesn't have to be that way if they (SQ-labs, I've given up on Volks ever coming out with a DD male) made some for women, too!

All the time there are REALLY popular male characters, that would sell so well, but they NEVER give them a chance!

I've looked at the Obitsus quite a bit. I don't know if the head would fit. But personally I want a full resin doll, so I don't have to worry about staining.

 

Have you considered contacting SQ-labs to ask them about whether they'd consider this? It can't hurt.

Also, there was a comment a little way back about body compatibility. There's a good chance a male resin body could work with an SQ labs head. If you did some digging, I'm sure some info will turn up.

 

From their bodies so far, I'd be super excited if/when SQ labs makes a male body!!

And I agree it's something of an injustice to have so few anime styled males so far. Nothing's stopping us from frankensteining up some boys tho!

I have a WIP Luffy - an obitsu50 head (which is very similar in size and skintone to SQ normal I believe; so I hope it's helpful to anyone looking to make a SQlab/resin body hybrid) on a male soulkid body here, I feel it works pretty well ^^

 

I just received the smoking pipe ordered from SQ lab. It looks awesome.

 

I haven't received any word about my SQ Lab doll being sent yet. I'm curious if anyone else has heard anything?

I'm hoping I get my shipping notice soon!

 

i do lurk in the dollfie dream thread (perhaps more than i'd like to admit ), but i was thinking of resin options as well....

i agree about anime boys being nice, and i'll looking forward to people's opinions about the body (i saw they have a tiny sized body coming out that i may have to dive for! )

and the pipe looks really nice! i've been tempted to get one or two (along with a pair of the kitty ears they have)

 

The pipe is really nice! I want a pair of pink kitty ears so bad >.< maybe a GO will come along soon and I can order a pair!

 

I can't wait to see your Luffy all done up- he is going to look awesome! I would love it too if SQ labs made a boy body as well.

 

Their stuffs are really nice. But for this time, my faith on SQ has gone down. I got the pipe together with some friends. One of them has their stuffs sent wrongly (they bought spectacles) and one of the doll head has serious flaw on it.

 

that don't sound very good how was their answer. it dont look good if there allready is problems now.

Well...I just ordered an Iris head as well as resin eyes, glasses and the cat-ear headband....I was really torn between a couple of the heads but I figure if I really like one I can always get another!

 

Anyone else spot the new Yo sized body preview? KSG (KO School Girl) body is 26cm


I'm quiet intrigued as I could use some mini's around here and would be curious to hybrid these. ^_^ I do wish there was a photo showing the back though. :-/

@shadow_catty I am not sure what did SQ replid, because it's my friend who deal with them and he did not told us the details.

@Ahiru The head has a visible crack on it.

 

Two outfits for the SG body were made: School Uniform Black & School Uniform White
I don't see any prices up yet, just pictures.

Anyone planning on buying one of the uniforms?
